Check in took a while as there was only 2 counters open. Clean room however sound proofing of room not too good - could hear fireworks from downstairs although i was on the 28th floor, and also people closing doors along the corridor. Staff were friendly but front desk didn’t inform of facilities available or wifi details during check in, had to figure out ourselves.

The stay at Z Hotel in Johor Bahru as a family my wife, our 6 year old daughter, and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping malls, eateries, and popular attractions, making it easy for us to explore JB. The room was modern, clean, and well-maintained, providing a cozy stay for our family. The bed was comfortable, and we all slept well. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. Overall We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Z Hotel JB. It’s a great choice for families looking for a clean, modern, and conveniently located hotel in Johor Bahru. Would definitely consider staying again on our next visit!

For a short getaway it’s worth the price , it’s clean and aircon was cold enough to have a good night rest . Nearby a lot of foods and 7-11 is just right beside the hotel . Nice massage place just opposite.

The place is really good. Thought I would just get a glimpse of JB but the place is perfectly situated to so many cultural aspects seen. Plus the view of the entire building to Singapore is really amazing. Though it's a short stay, I will definitely miss staying at The Bess Homestay.

Clean and spacious. The building is newly built, so everything looks so new. Comfy and convenient place to stay with restaurants/ marts/ even rnf mall nearby. Nice sea view. Units are provided with coffee/bottle waters/netflix/fridge/washing machine etc same as description. Good service from the host ! Very responsive and clear instruction for check in. Highly recommended to all.

The front desk lady don’t understand English that giving me the same room 25-40 as I mention I lost my underwear last week 06/-07 April while I staying in the room . Given me the same room 25-40 The room aircon is spoiled make me can’t sleep well due the the room is hot . I called to the counter dial 0 She mentioned will ask maintenance to come over In the middle of the night but the aircon are not fix . Morning I called again to the front desk and ask to change other room . Due to I can’t sleep well there are no aircon and the bed are itchi . I extend the stay in the hotel I paid $214 and changed to 25-28 but the room I found some  cockroach inside the room. That is so  terrible. They given me room that smell or fishing smell and the pillow case got stain and I check out the room in the night time and when back to Singapore and rest . 10.30pm I don’t know did the housekeeping change the  bedsheet and pillowcase ? Can the  management take a lookout? On the cctv ? I know the ksl  hotel are huge but bedsheet and pillowcase should change cause that is unhygienic That are not a joke at all . Thanks

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the toilet was spacious with complete amenities. However, the service was very disappointing. Room 808 had a strong smoking smell, and the floor manager just sprayed perfume to cover it but the smoking smell is still there. When I requested a room change, the customer service staff was extremely rude, telling me to call back at 9 PM because it was their break-fast time and i should respect. They were also reluctant and made it seem troublesome to change room. Propose Hotel management to arrange non muslim staff to handle calls during break fast timing in future, as Foreigners might not comprehend the situation. Another major issue was the parking system. It is confusing for first-time visitors, as hotel guests need to park at level B2 and validate their Touch ’n Go card for free parking. During dinner hours, the queue for validation was ridiculously long, with only one counter available. We had to wait in a line with more than 10 people ahead of us, which was frustrating, We are rushing for dinner, hence, we paid parking cost RM27 for just 3–4 hours, which is unreasonable. The hotel staff, especially the phone helpline team, were rude and impatient. Calls took a long time to be answered, possibly due to staff shortages during the fasting month and Hari Raya eve holiday season. Due to the rude staff and poor service, I will not stay at this hotel again.

Conveniently located just right opposite KSL mall, about 5-10 mins drive from CIQ. Check in was fast, requested for a high floor, near lift(as my mum had ankle issues) and non-smoking floor which was fulfilled by the front desk. View from the room was great. Room was quite spacious. Bathroom as well. All the necessary items were provided. They even had a mini magnifying mirror at the side in the bathroom for makeup purposes which I think was very user friendly for me especially when I’m putting my contact lenses. Hotel breakfast buffet had quite a variety of western and local food mixed, view was also very good. On 6th floor is a massage parlour (Thai odyssey) that has a 20% discount of massages for hotel guests only.

I loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and facilities to the serene pool area and gym facility. I will recommend others for sure. This is the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway in (Location). The downtown area on Main Street is a best-kept secret, and hotel offers everything you need if you feel like you need to vent out.

The hotel has a great location – HDL is just downstairs and City Square is right across the road, making it very convenient. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. However, I was quite disappointed with the swimming pool. It was not well-maintained, with visible algae making the surface very slippery and unclean. We arrived at the hotel around 6pm, but only one of our rooms was ready. We ended up waiting until 9pm, and it was only after I made a phone call that we were informed the second room was ready – there was no prior update. Additionally, we requested extra towels which were never delivered.
