Hotel was very good had the villa vibes. Room waa spacious and extremely clean staff was polite and friendly. The location was good very close to check point. Tho the hot water was unstable a second its hot then another second is cold,overall a good place to stay with a family.

A Fantastic Stay at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn JBCC, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Location: The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Johor Bahru, right above Komtar JBCC Mall and within walking distance to City Square Mall and the immigration checkpoint to Singapore. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city and enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby. Rooms & Comfort: The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I particularly loved the large windows with a stunning city view, which added to the overall ambiance. The in-room amenities, such as a smart TV, coffee-making facilities, and a spacious bathroom, were thoughtful touches that enhanced the stay. Service & Hospitality: The staff at Holiday Inn JBCC were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and efficient. Special mention to the front desk and housekeeping teams for their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Dining Experience: The hotel’s restaurant served a fantastic breakfast buffet with a variety of local and international options. The quality of food was excellent, and the dining area was spacious and well-lit. The rooftop bar was another highlight, offering a great place to unwind with a drink while enjoying panoramic views of Johor Bahru. Good room size. Near to the causeway. Short walk to mall. Yes, kinda noisy. Not just the sound from the night market BUT also from the hotel’s music at the corridor. If you do find it too loud and disturbing your sleep, do let the front desk know. They can turn it off. Unfortunately, nothing can be done for the hard hard hard pillows…. Flatter pillow is hard and likewise, thicker pillow is hard. The blanket isn’t properly laid by the housekeeping, with half just the sheet cover. Sloppy. Front desk staff are friendly and the lobby guy is helpful.

Clean and spacious. The building is newly built, so everything looks so new. Comfy and convenient place to stay with restaurants/ marts/ even rnf mall nearby. Nice sea view. Units are provided with coffee/bottle waters/netflix/fridge/washing machine etc same as description. Good service from the host ! Very responsive and clear instruction for check in. Highly recommended to all.

Disappointed on the day I booked this studio & there was another cheaper studio but I chose it because I thought the studio would be special. The photos on their websites differ with what I received. The towels are smelly & wet still. Especially duo key. I mentioned them that I need car park the day before but I think they don’t really care coz no access card for me when they asked to take the house’s key in their mailbox then made me drive one round to turn back for the second at lobby to get it. I had been staying many times at R&F used to be my favourite place but honestly with another host. My strongly recommendation with Anju so please check carefully before booking

We are so gratefull to stay in this unit All are perfect for the facilties. Good clean apartment well maintain also, the location also very startefic and close to ciq The contact person also very helpfull, many food and cafe so we can buy food not far from apartement. Going to stay again future thanks lynn and trip.com

It was my first time to travel here with my family. I loved it. The Shandong boss was especially enthusiastic. The hotel service attitude was great. He answered all my questions. I highly recommend this hotel. I will highly recommend my family and friends to stay here in the future. The sanitation is also very clean. It is very convenient to eat, drink and have fun. Singapore is just across the street. I will come again next time.

For a short getaway it’s worth the price , it’s clean and aircon was cold enough to have a good night rest . Nearby a lot of foods and 7-11 is just right beside the hotel . Nice massage place just opposite.

My first trip at St Giles Southkey. I was greeted with smile when I check in. The service is wonderful nothing much to complain about. The room is clean and tidy, and they even surprised me with a cake on my Wedding Anniversary. Room was nicely decorated with balloons , such a warm welcome. Thank you 😊 🙏 💓 St Giles is just situated at Mid Valley Shopping Mall, so is very convenient if you want to stay at the same location for shopping and food. Breakfast wise, huge selection. I love their Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang. Overall, a good stay at St Giles Southkey, definitely coming back again.

Opero was super festively decorated for the season with welcome drink given (see pics). Closely located to midvalley south key (5mins walking distance, they also provide a free shuttle bus service on the hour from 12-8pm). Be sure to book early as the bus can only seat ~15 and you’ll be deferred to the next ride if full. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel provided the usual amenities (bedroom slippers/ toothbrush etc). Liked that there was an iron and hair dryer but the dryer was attached in the toilet (not portable)!! However, complaints about the toilet as there's only a rain shower and no shower head. Also, even when at max volume and heat, water was not strong/hot enough and the shower curtain was very clearly rusty!! 😭 (refer pic). The rust doesnt come out with the water on but the dirt from the shower curtain peels off as you are showering which was gross. Further, the toilet seat was dirty with stains.
