"Another amazing stay at the catalyst! Two years ago I had forgotten my headsets, winter gown and a charger; they contacted me whilst I was at the airport regarding my oopsie and I let them know that I couldn’t come back to the airport as I was awaiting a flight, I asked them if they could safeguard my belongings and we communicated via email a year later- I hadn’t had the chance to return back to collect them. Two years later, I checked into the Catalyst again not expecting them to have kept my belongings, however, two years later not only had they kept my belongings in mint condition and they returned them back to me. A big thank you to everyone at the Catalyst, thank you for being trustworthy and providing impeccable customer service and support. I can not recommend you enough!!"

"I only spent one night at this hotel and I'm generally satisfied. Easy access from the highway, private parking but it costs 40 rubles, which is stingy. The room was spotless and very functional with a comfortable bed. I had dinner and breakfast for 195 rubles. The neighborhood isn't great, and I recommend having a car. The rooftop is lovely with a nice bar. Good value for money. Very professional staff."

"The hotel is located in the old town of Johannesburg. The surrounding area is quite messy. I don't dare to go out alone during the day. We dragged three large suitcases to check in, and the staff at the door would not take the initiative to help you with your luggage. The room is large, similar to the structure of an apartment, the carpet is quite dirty, and there is nothing to eat for breakfast. The only advantage is that it is close to the exhibition hall. I will not stay here again."
