Arriving at the Ranbanka Heritage Hotel is a bit confusing as it is set behind a more modern and non-descript hotel. Once our driver found the entrance to the hotel, we found a lovely heritage property with rooms overlooking a large central courtyard. We were originally given a large room with a very nice balcony on the second floor. Unfortunately, the wifi reception was not good, so we were moved to a ground-level room, which had good wifi reception. The courtyard has a large pool and covered lounging area, a restaurant with a varied breakfast menu, and a nice gift shop. The front desk and housekeeping staff were helpful and responsive. Because we were travelling during the low-season, room renovations were underway during our two-night stay. The work was quiet and surprisingly non-disruptive.

I came Ranbanka Palace for business travel,very good service ,I directly walking in at the reception ,Ronak offer me good room with good rate , excellent person was working & nature . Good food ,ambience & garden is what Ranbanka known for . Next time will plan Holidays with family.

Excellent stay at Ranbanka Palace ,good room ,clean & good food. Variety in breakfast ,though only few guest was present. Manohar ji ,collection of Jodhpur Footwear was excellent,staff was very helpful & Cooperative. Thank you for lovely stay!!!!

A lovely boutique palace hotel and in a convenient location, just a few minutes away from Jodhpur airport. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. As a solo traveller, I would highly recommend it. The staff were courteous, polite and always ready to help. Food at the hotel was also very good and they happily accomodated your request.

Our stay at Ranbanka palace was enjoyable. Due to a heritage palace building there were no lift access. We were given a room at the second floor however staff were friendly hence we did not have to worry with our heavy cases. Room was spacious with a massive bathroom. It mostly ticked all our boxes of a comfortable stay. Due to a wedding booking on the same night of our stay there were loud music and fire works which honestly we did not mind for one night. One can also get a good view of Ummed Bhavan from the palace terrace.

Whilst the motel itself was clean and relaxing, the motel had a major work ethics issue. The most annoying aspect of the whole stay was the persistent asking for tips from the staff. If a tip was not extracted from us, some employees then avoid us and deliver poor service. And this occurred daily. The employees know how to give good service because they do so when a tip is paid. It is obvious that their main driver is the extractions of tips and not customer service. If the motel resolved this issue, our stay would have been much more enjoyable. On a positive side, the pool is well maintained, the room and area clean, the entertainment enjoyable and shops well stocked.

At checkout nobody asked how the stay was … they are apparently used to the replies .. the usual Indian welcome was resumed to a seemingly warm welcome of a palace hotel but finally rather different- major infrastructural issues were encountered during this two day stay including WiFi, hot water, bed sheets and espresso coffee
