Apart from the landscaping, horses and peacock, the experience was a mess. At start, The hospitality team on the front desk was very unwelcoming while the welcome, even after arranging a cake for birthday and and sourcing the local flowers, her tone and her face had no grace, no smile but attitude. This horrible service continued at the open candle light dinner. There were only 3 people service managing 100-150 people. out of which 2 were from the BAR counter. On asking for arranging for 2 extra chair on the table, they ignored for 15 min, until I had to lift those heavy chairs from the other end of the ground to my spot. The Food was equally terrible. Even after specially mentioning them to not make it not spicy, They did the complete opposite. We literally left 2/3 of the food. The french fries which i had already ordered at the room but later choose to eat the diner table' even that got him 15 min to plate it and bring on table. Next morning, assuming it was a bad day yesterday and not their fault, My parents wanted to had tea near the dam, on requesting the 3 extra chairs at the front, he said yes, and disappeared. on requesting the staff who got us tea, he denied, that it's not allowed and he will not do it. Even though last evening there were 15 people sitting there. Even my driver got mugged by the staff, He purchased diner coupon worth Rs.20 but since he didn't had a change, he paid Rs.200 to staff were the staff promised he would give the change back in sometime, and he was not seen the next morning also.... It was my father's birthday and I was really looking forward to a great experience there, but BAL SAMAND disappointed me, even after spending SO MUCH!!
