Xishuangbanna Jinghong Jimu River View Hotel is amazing! Located along the riverside, it offers the perfect viewpoint for sunsets and evening views. You can see the bridge across the Mekong River and the buildings on the opposite shore, beautifully lit with colorful lights—a truly breathtaking sight. The hotel is also close to street food vendors and food/fruit shops just below the building. The night market is only a 10-15 minute walk away, making this location ideal. The facilities and services, including A/C, a tea kettle, hair dryer, swimming pool, airport pickup, breakfast, slippers (changed daily!), towels, washing machine (this surprised me!), toothbrush, toothpaste, tissue paper, and more, are excellent—better than other hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s essentially a smart hotel! There’s a Xiaodu AI (like Google Alexa or Siri) to help you manage room functions such as opening/closing curtains, turning lights on/off, and controlling music—it's so innovative! However, it currently only supports Mandarin. The bathroom features an automated toilet with self-flushing, a heated seat, and an automatic bidet. One thing to note is that there is no door or partition between the toilet/bathroom and the bedroom, so it’s an open design. If you’re sharing the room with friends or others you don’t know well, be mindful of this for privacy. The staff here are friendly and helpful, although their English is limited. They do their best to use translation tools, which is appreciated and works fine. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00, so if you want to enjoy it, an early wake-up is necessary, haha! The food is simple and leans more towards Chinese style rather than Western, with options like noodles, cakes, stir-fried vegetables, soy milk, fresh milk, and watermelon. Overall, I rate this hotel 10/10! The few minor points I mentioned are easy to overlook, and the price is affordable and reasonable. You won’t find another hotel like this anywhere else! Don’t hesitate to make this hotel a memorable part of your trip—you won’t regret it! (I made two bookings for this hotel—so don’t be surprised if you see this review twice!)

The hotel provides airport pick-up service. Chef Xie is very enthusiastic, professional and careful. He specially made a detailed travel plan for us, so that we had a lot of fun every day. The hotel environment is spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The room is very warm, clean and tidy. You can see the spectacular river view on the balcony. The hotel housekeeper is sunny, enthusiastic and responsive. The breakfast dishes are very rich and complete.

The hotel lobby is clean and tidy, and offers a tea room and book bar for free tasting. The whole house is smart, and takeaways are delivered by robots🤖, which is really convenient~ The third floor has a 2,500-square-meter outdoor swimming pool, which is very photogenic💯You can swim in the swimming pool directly during the day~ It is also equipped with a gym and a laundry room (which can be dried) 🍜There is breakfast on the second floor, which is rich in variety and delicious😋 One-to-one butler Haidilao-style service can pick you up at the airport. The staff are very warm and considerate, and they always greet you with a smile. Not only is the stay experience very comfortable, but the photos are also very photogenic. It is a popular check-in spot for Internet celebrities~ It is really worth coming again🥰

Very good location, staff are friendly. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast is delicious. Provide free airport pick up. Airport drop off cost 100 RMB, which is very good deal, as we have 7 people and 8 luggages with several backpacks. We hired the driver Mr.Yang who picked us up from the airport for some day trips, which saved us lots of traffic time. Room service was completed everyday stocking all our daily wants and needs. We ended up with a room with a real great view that looks over the river too! Wonderful experience!

It’s a very clean hotel. Its location is very near the happening areas like good restaurants and night market. The hotel sent someone to fetch me at the train station. I will stay again if I visit.

The swimming pool is crystal clear and sparkling under the sunshine, like a huge mirror embedded in the hotel. Swimming here is so comfortable🥰. And this swimming pool is really suitable for taking pictures📸! Whether standing by the pool or taking a beautiful pose in the water, you can take a big picture with just a casual shot. The river view of the hotel is also super beautiful🌅. In the evening, sitting by the pool, watching the sunset fall little by little and sprinkle on the river, the whole world is dyed golden, and the atmosphere is directly full🥳. The hotel's service is also very considerate, the staff is warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home🤗. The room is warm and comfortable🛏, and the facilities are also complete. What a cool place!! Our friends recommended to go there as they had just stayed in this brand new hotel and loved it. We were not disappointed, the rooms are so beautiful, the balcony was our absolute highlight (at day at night time) with the white furniture, the plants and the lights. Shower is really great and overall amazing design of the entire room and the entire hotel!!! Service was really good and warm, a very sweet and kind lady named Xiao Xu took such great care of us and it was super easy to communicate with her in WeChat, so foreigners feel welcome and well taken care of in this hotel!! She really made a great difference for us, also compared to some other experiences when traveling in China. The location of the hotel is so cool, you’re right in the middle of a small and cute part of the city, super close to the river and where many restaurants, bars, temples are. The pool is just amazing, on roof top, good size, great view, small pool bar with all you can wish for! This hotel was exactly what we wanted and actually what most people want when they stay in Xishuangbanna. We absolutely recommend to stay there, we have looked at other places before and when we passed by just because we were curious, but this was the one we liked most from design, location and again, that balcony!!!!

It is a very nice hotel with a good location and staff. The breakfast is okay , fruit was good . We booked a non smoking room but unfortunately there is no such thing in this hotel. The room reeked with cigarette smoke and there was an ashtray on the table. There was also a sign that said no smoking in bed. The staff tried to accommodate us and offered us different rooms but they were all the same. The hotel lobby also reeked of smoke and the sixth floor community bathroom had someone inside smoking when I tried to use it while having breakfast. I would suggest that they offer a non smoking floor with smoke detectors so anyone caught smoking there could be dealt with. I would not recommend this hotel.
