-dilapidated wood stairs outside with chunks missing -pstairway to our room had zero lighting -hallway AND room had strong moldy musty odor -filthy bathroom -sticky floor, old dirty stained carpeting -cheap lumpy mattress -outlet wasn’t working -weird vanity built into a closet with no mirror -air conditioning was rolling floor unit that was extremely loud -AC kept disconnecting as tube was connected with tape -back of unit encased in dust

One of the worst places we’ve ever stayed- would not recommend at all. Dated and dirty room, steep stairs as external access, poor lock systems and rubbish location if you hope to walk to any facilities! Noisy air con - so you have option of sleeping in noise or in heat. Coffee was provided - only doughnut flavoured 🤷‍♀️ We would e left immediately had anyone been there to assist but no one available.

Beware! I read mixed reviews and decided to give the property a chance. Awful! It IS NOT within walking distance to Jim Thorpe Town! The property was shabby, loose handrail, peeling paint, broken patio chairs. Our ground floor room view was top of garage roof as well as the over flowing trash barrels in the side yard. Our room was dank,small and the smoke detector went off when we used the shower. Our coffee pot was broken and we were told they didn't have another. Don't waist your money!

Stayed for a weekend here in early December. We wanted to stay somewhere in town but no vacancies. If we knew what we were in for, we would have switched our weekend for another date just to stay at another place. This place is close enough to the train station and that is the only plus. The pictures are very misleading. We were in the basement room, we saw no Mountain View. It was shabby with a bad mattress, the tv was broken, the heat didn’t work in the bathroom, we had half windows with see through curtains, no paper towels or tissues, no tissues in the whole place, and no one on premises to address any issues. The steps outside leading to the parking lot were rickety, slippery (no grip tape), and buckled (very dangerous )! SEE PHOTOS The parking lot is very narrow with only 3 parking spaces (you can park on the street out front, the street is very steep). The door to our room was thin and wobbly even when locked, not secure at all. The walls are also thin. We called and emailed MANY times asking to be reimbursed or given a discount off our bill because of the broken tv and no heat in bathroom (these things were promised as a part of the package deal). They couldn’t bother to call us or email us back to even discuss it, no common courtesy at all. Don’t expect help if you have any issues. Save your money and go somewhere else!!
