Hotel dekat Shiji Zhizhou, Jilin

I wasn't expecting this caliber of hotel in a smaller town such as Jilin. It is better than some 5 star hotels I've stayed at in other larger cities in China. Our room was extremely large, as we were able to accommodate two additional friends in our room for lunch with plenty of space to spare. Speaking of lunch, the delivery to the room was delivered via robot, much to our son's delight. The room and bathroom were both clean and well appointed. Nothing felt run down or low rent. The generously sized bath tub was put to good use for bathing our son, as well as soaking in a relaxing bath. The staff was extremely professional and catered to our special needs, including a crib and extra care for our son. Would also like to mention the busboy (礼宾部田静润) who was extremely helpful in loading/unloading of our extra large luggage into the taxi.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, which made a great first impression. The reception staff were not only professional but also very friendly and accommodating. They provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and eateries, and they went out of their way to guide us on how to get there. We especially appreciated their helpful directions to a well-known local restaurant. While the room itself was a bit smaller than we expected, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The coziness of the space actually added to the comfort of our stay, and we felt right at home. One of the highlights for me was the hotel slippers—they were incredibly soft, thick, and comfortable, offering a nice touch of luxury and relaxation. Another nice surprise was the hotel’s thoughtful gesture of providing free porridge in the evenings. After a long day of exploring, it was a warm and comforting treat to enjoy before bed. Additionally, the hotel is well-equipped with convenient amenities like washing machines and dryers, which is always a bonus when you're traveling for an extended period. For food lovers, it’s worth mentioning that the hotel is just a short walk from 新兴园饺子, a famous local dumpling restaurant. The proximity made it easy for us to enjoy some of the best dumplings in the area without having to travel far. Overall, the hotel provided a great balance of comfort, convenience, and service, making it a wonderful choice for anyone visiting the area.

The room is clean and tidy, the waiter is thoughtful and kind, and I especially thank the front desk lady Xiao Meng for upgrading the room. I was given fruit salad! The hotel is conveniently located and it is very convenient to take a taxi! It will be the best choice for future visits to Jilin! The breakfast is rich and the hot pot for dinner on the six-layer floor is not expensive and delicious!

This is my first time coming to Jilin City. The overall feeling is great. The hotel I stayed in is in a very good location, only five minutes away from the Henan Street Night Market. There is a bus at the door that can go directly to the train station. After staying for three days, I fell ill on the second day. The aunt on the floor was very considerate and made me feel warm. Overall, it’s very good. I had a great time going there during the National Day!

HI stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and its proximity to the railway station was very convenient. The room was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, communication was a bit challenging since no one at the reception spoke English. Despite this, the overall experience was decent, especially for travelers looking for a clean place near transport hubs.

An old hotel, about my age, almost 30 years old. Don't think too much about the facilities, just stay there, affordable and next to the high-speed rail station. I stayed in Jilin for one night to see the rime. It was five stars the day before, but it was completely gone when I went there. I was really disappointed૮₍ •́ ₃•̀₎ა

The location is close to the ski resort, so I stay here every time I come to ski. The price is affordable and the cost performance is very high. I have stayed here for no less than ten times, but this time I feel that the service has been significantly improved. The front desk lady Liu Xiaojiao who checked me in was very considerate. When I checked in, she introduced the details of the reserved room type to me, asked about the floor and location preferences, and arranged the room according to my preferences. After I checked in, the front office manager personally visited me and the check-in experience was very heartwarming. The room was clean and tidy without any dead corners, and the breakfast was as good as always. It was really great, and I hope it will get better and better.

I had wanted to experience a luxury hotel, which is now ranked second in Jilin City. I wanted to stay at Shimao Yunjin Hotel when I came to Jilin to enjoy the New Year's Eve fireworks, but it was fully booked and I couldn't stay here. I was shocked when I checked in. All services and facilities are still stuck in the past ten years. The restaurant service is terrible. Moreover, a pancake plus a fried yellow croaker costs 180 yuan. It's sweet and salty. I have never had such a bad experience. I want to feel the welcome of friends. At the same time, I want to say that my psychological feelings have nothing to do with the hotel. I went to college in Jilin in 2011 and felt that Jilin was prosperous. I came back once around 2017 and felt that my previous impression was a little different. This time I came back and felt lonely and depressed. There is no need to use the word ”backward”. It is very deserted and probably related to winter.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The staff at reception spoke English fluently, making check-in and communication smooth and easy. The highlight of the stay was the exceptional room service – one of the best I’ve experienced! The attention to detail and promptness really stood out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and great service.

I spent 8 days at Vanke Songhua Lake New Story Suites. Usually it was planned for five days only but I extended my stay two times. This place is just awesome 👏🏼🤩 It is warm (floor heating), tidy and very clean. I’m allergic to cigarette smell so they arranged a non smoking room for me I was very happy with. …nice skiing for families, beginners and the faster, more brave ones and the hotel staff is just lovely. They are always nice and kind, help wherever they can ( even without much English or in my case with none existing to rudimentary Chinese 🤣) The Hotel is only 800 m from the slope but they offer a shuttle service (very convenient) during skiing times. I used it in the morning but enjoyed my walk “home” after snowboarding. Ski and snowboard rental plus gear is available in the basement. I booked a coach for every day in the morning for 3h and must say he was best of the best!!! I had no clue about snowboarding but he had the ability to teach me step by step 👉🏼 we both had to use translation apps 🤣✌🏼. After you finish at the slope there is always someone in the kitchen (breakfast place) who is happy to make a bowl of rice noodles or dumplings for you. ❤️🥰. And the flowers inside the hotel are real!!! No fake plastic but real flowers 🌸 huge thanks to the kitchen staff too, they work hard and the breakfast buffet ALWAYS looks clean. I will definitely come back and bring friends! 你们太可爱了❤️
