I went to the place I always wanted to go and found that Shaxi is very suitable for daydreaming. It is so comfortable to live in Shaxi. We saw a well-reviewed Wuliu Xinsu on Ctrip. It is only two or three minutes away from the parking lot and Dongzhaimen. The inn is a bit like the one where Xu Hongdou lived. It feels great. I woke up in the morning listening to the birds singing. The air is so fresh. I heard from the lady at the front desk that Liu Jia, the teacher of the crew of Going to a Windy Place, and Grandma Wu Yanshu also lived here. The service of this hotel is very good and thoughtful. There is afternoon tea, hot milk before bed, and Chinese or Western breakfast. If you encounter any problems, the housekeeper will help you solve them. This is the best service homestay I have ever stayed in

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! The rooms are spacious, beautiful and clean, with good sized bathrooms. The courtyard is a peaceful and relaxing place. The breakfast is also filling and well prepared. The boss was the most helpful and accommodating host and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and to arrange transport for our sight seeing and onward journey. We even shared some tea in the evening, getting to know each other better. The location is also perfect, close to the centre of the magical ancient town. Myself and my partner cannot recommend this guesthouse enough! If you no visit Shaxi, you must stay here!

Well-appointed and comfortable inn. Excellent location with easy access to attractions (some within less than 5 mins walk), yet is tucked in a quiet corner. Delicious and nutritious breakfast. Most commendable is the warm hospitality. I feel so well-taken care by everyone here. If I were to visit Shaxi again, I will definitely stay here. And do Shaxi justice by staying for at least a couple of days, and explore the vicinity.

👉This is an ancient house of the Bach ethnic group, about 200 years old, renovated and put into business. The house is located in the heart of Sa Khe ancient town, less than 100 meters from the ancient stage and the Yujin stone bridge, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, handicraft shops... The front of the hotel is for renting and selling costumes, inside is a quiet yard and covered with stone lotus flowers, the space is very airy and quiet. I booked a room on the 2nd floor, the room is small, pretty and clean, fully equipped, with a small yard in front of the door, in the morning you can sip a cup of tea to welcome the early morning sun, at night you can sit and eat fried mushrooms and sip a cup of local plum wine, a true feeling of rest. The hotel has a separate kitchen and laundry room for guests, if you want you can cook and do laundry here. 👉The hotel owner is an elderly and extremely funny person. I went for many days so I brought quite a lot of luggage. However, the owner was very happy to help me carry my luggage from the town gate to my room. (Vehicles are not allowed in the old town, so the owner helped me push my luggage from the gate. All the roads in the town are paved with stone, so you can't pull your luggage and need a special cart. So if you book a room here, contact the owner before coming for help). 👉The price of the room I booked on the 2nd floor was about 1 million VND/night, and I was completely satisfied with this price with all the emotions it brought. I only stayed for 2 nights, but the owner was extremely enthusiastic from the first day to the last day, helping me book a car back to Lijiang, and even giving me a souvenir with the promise that even if I brought more luggage next time, he would still happily welcome me. 🤣🤣 👉Sa Khe ancient town is one of the extremely well-preserved ancient sites in Yunnan province. If Lijiang is likened to a fairy with a splendid and proud beauty, then Sa Khe is a quiet and fragile beauty in the wind. Coming here, you will naturally feel life slow down, allowing yourself to be a little lazy, a little gentle with yourself. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay in Sa Khe longer!

This is my first time traveling to Shaxi Ancient Town! I'm really happy to have the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful little B&B here. Although the room is not big, it is just right for me. Everything I need is in it. The address of Mingsu is also very convenient, not far from the city center. My favorite part is probably the grounds here because they are so beautiful. It's perfect for enjoying the sun and drinking tea during the day. The landlord was very chatty and considerate and helped me call a ride to take me to the next city. Next time I come back, I will definitely stay here again!

The staff will also guide you to the location where you need to be picked up as quickly as possible to help carry the suitcase. My wife and I are in the hotel industry. This service is perfect. When we go out to travel, we follow the local customs. The hotel is very distinctive. There is a pomegranate tree in the yard. When we heard that we wanted to eat it, we would send it to our room and it was planted. The shampoo provided smells very fragrant, and the breakfast is also very delicious. The corn🌽 is very sweet. It is recommended to friends who come to play.

When I passed by, I was attracted by the scenery outside. When I walked in, the famous hotel was very clean and comfortable. There were green plants and landscaping everywhere in the yard. It can be seen that the boss is very attentive. There are also two tea rooms in the public entertainment space. It is very comfortable to drink tea and chat in the afternoon. The ladies from the famous hotel are also very enthusiastic. There is a rich breakfast to choose from every day, and there is a steady stream of fresh fruits, even in every room. Equipped with two hairdryers, coffee machines, tea sets, tea sets, etc., the landlady is also attentive to the guests, enthusiastic and conscientious. If you have the opportunity to come to Shaxi again, you will definitely choose Shuxia Inn!

Especially there is an oversized balcony to dry clothes, we have a wave of people to wash out the ones that have not been washed a few days ago! Comfortable!

To start with, Shaxi is such a precious jewel. The historic preservation collaboration between ETH and Chinese scholars and the locals is impressive. The harmony formed by the nature and the man-made environment is incredible. We wish we had more time to stay and dive deeper. And we absolutely loved our stay at the Flower Inn. It’s really close to the core of the town yet very quiet and peaceful. The garden is meticulously cared for. The most special is an impressive 2-story library housing the owners’ personal book collections. They recently opened the library to the community a few days a week - a generous way to share knowledge and wisdom, and bring the community closer together. The owners are very warm, interested in making friends and sharing their experience. I really enjoyed an evening chat with them and listening to the stories about the town’s history, preservation, local lifestyles and much more. We would love to come back to Shaxi in the future and stay at the Flower Inn again.
