"Staying in the Old City of Jerusalem is such a special experience, and there are very few hotels located there. This place is so charming and has a very special vibe to it. It is a short walk to the Kotel, and it was so close to everything we wanted to visit. The staff was great, and the hotel room and facilities was exactly what we were looking for. Only disappointing thing was the breakfast that was offered, but I think that's mainly due to the war and drop in tourism. I really hope that this summer the tourist industry improves and that people get to visit these charming hotels."

"* WARNING* DO NOT BELIEVE ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS ON HERE. This place is a run down dump in urgent need of a full refurbishment! 4* Hotel? More like 1* Motel. The room we stayed in was filthy with stains all over carpets and blood, nails and hair under the bed sheets! The wood cladding and grout was mouldy and beds had seen more bottoms then a park bench, making them lumpy and hard. With all this in mind the staff at the desk did their best to help and offered us a refund (Which we took and ran for the hills) If you live in a mud hut this place might just do, but if not AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

"The location is great inside the old city and view from the top of the hotel are lovely. Free tea or coffee self service available in lounge but no fresh milk but powder alternative. However this is the only positive thing I can write about this hotel after stay here for 2 Night. What do you want from hotels comfortable bed, clean rooms, quiet corridors, a reliable WIFI connection, and other complimentary toiletries? Well you will not get that here. Noise all through out the night and day. You can hear conversation, phones ringing, people running up the stairs and opening/ closing of front door. This places has no soundproofing. Which means you hear everything in the hotel. This resulting in us having everything difficulty falling asleep. The room was not a clean standard and when staff come into clean like which is expected but only cleaning half the room and not locking the room back up. There are no safes in your room so you have to keep everything on you. Also every time I was near or on bed I was continuously feeling itchy. The bed is rock hard with one pillow. They have 2 different WiFi but both however are poor. Always cutting out or unable to connect. Even when connect ever slow. For non-Muslim guests, this means that unmarried couples have to sleep in separate rooms. Which I can respect. The staff were not helpful and come across as rude. Clear preference for cash, which was shown as multiple people were sent to the ATM because of "issues with the credit card". Worst place I have ever stayed, can't recommend. "

"We did not stay at the Notre Dame Guest House; however, we attended mass there and ate at the rooftop restaurant twice during our five-day stay in Jerusalem. We met a friendly priest at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher who told us about the Notre Dame Guest House. It was a Sunday evening, and we were looking for a mass. He recommended Notre Dame. We attended a beautiful service and then explored the facility. We returned the following night for dinner, saw our priest friend again, took photos of his group on the rooftop, and joined them for mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher the following days. We looked at brochures showing us the rooms at the Notre Dame Guest House, which looked lovely. The grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly, and it has two restaurants, a coffee shop, and a chapel where they say mass. It's perfect. Additionally, it's across the street from the New Gate into Old Jerusalem. It's a great location. "

"I am writing this review in the hope that the hotel actually bothers to read and respond to it, as they are not responsive to other mediums. I was booked and paid for my stay at the hotel in April. However due to the situation in israel our flights were cancelled. I messaged the hotel to advise them of this and to request credit if possible for the missed stay. TO date no response- very poor service. Take your money and not care."

"Mediocre hotel, lack of parking which might create a problem, Parking in the distance and in blue and white (paid parking). The food is reasonable minus and was missing and ran out even though we arrived on time it was not available and in addition some food were before the end of the meal. The floor in some parts of the cafeteria is crooked and things spill and it's hard to eat there. The room was clean and tidy to a good standard, the fridge was broken and crooked. I think that the price is reasonable. The lobby - is quiet and pleasant Excellent location near Kiryat Moshe light rail station. On the other hand the hotel is located on the main road with noise at night"

"In the 3 days I stayed there I had to change room twice -- 1st being the room was too hot as there were large windows and central heating was in place as it was still winter, 2nd being there were cigarette smoke smells coming through the air vent due to smoking other rooms. In the final night, I once again woke to cigarette smoke smells coming through the vents due to someone smoking in the room again -- and this is 3 room I have changed to!"

"Me and my spouse came to celebrate his birthday and we declared in advance that we come to celebrate ,but even a note of happy birthday we didn't get in to the room . Receptionist was not welcoming at all ,almost no communication during check in ,not a smile or welcome note to the guests . We got the room on the 5th floor near the elevator ,very noisy location . The room is small and the sheets were not clean . Air condition and hair drier didn't work . Reception haven't responded when we called and stayed on line for more then 15 min . The next morning when we went to have a breakfast ,it was a disaster what we saw there . I couldn't even find a clean cup to make myself a coffee . The food was not tasty and they did make omelet in the middle of the dining room with no ventilation in the ceiling and it felt like a barbeque party"
