My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The wood in the wrap around terrace should be replaced and the carpeting in our room was worn and also needed replacing. Finally, there are limited dining options on property and guests should be made aware that there are OTHER dining options in the small village over by the oceanfront area on the island, which is EASILY within walking distance of Jekyll Island Club. Finally the buffet breakfast is overpriced and the hotel should return to the a la carte dining option.

We are so happy to have chosen this historic hotel. We utilized the Birdie Golf Package for my spouse's birthday. The grounds are beautiful we were so surprised. So much to do or do nothing. We actually were bumming we missed playing croquet as we both did as kids. The breakfast buffet was excellent and surely not your typical Holiday Inn Breakfast. Don't miss riding the bike trails. Bring your A Game for Golf!

Beautiful historic resort on the most tranquil and peaceful island. The Wharf was fun for excellent food and drinks and music plus a view! All the new little shops were great - especially the coffee shop & Christmas shop.

This place is magnificent old southern charm, as I was born in Atlanta & all this time never had the pleasure to visit & stay here on the island! So peaceful & the water oaks are incredible. The staff especially “Scott” our valet attendant gave us a wonderful recommendation to visit driftwood beach. What a gorgeous place tucked away if you were just driving by and are unaware of this picture ask site you would miss it and we would have missed it if it hadn’t been for Scott. He was always very helpful with the doors kind and always had water for us. Kudos to Scott. Thank you again Jekyll Island for these beautiful wonderful memories and thank you Scott.

Gorgeous! Everything about this place is wonderful, yes its pricey but the service and the views are AMAZING!!! The little café has the BEST sweet tea ever and the rocking chairs are a nice touch!

We booked a guys golf trip given there were 3 courses on site. After we booked it and went to do the tee times we were advised 1 of the courses was being remodeled and not open. We figured that was fine and we would play a course offsite to sub in. When we got to the resort and had a tee time for Indian Mound we were advised the course was in such bad shape they could not let us play and we would have to play two rounds at Pine Lakes. So, now we booked a guys golf trip and only 1 of the 3 courses was available. Our first round at Pine Lakes did not have a beverage cart at all. Our second round had a beverage cart for half the round before they left. For a guys golf trip the food was the best thing.

My wife and I spent a couple nights at the awesome Jekyll Island Club August 6 to 8 for her Birthday. This is a wonderful getaway. Steeped in history and loaded with charm...it is easy to feel you are in a far away dream like location. Breakfast in the Grand Dining Room is a must. Service is so efficient and so darn charming. Go there and enjoy this beautiful place and find yourself relaxed totally and at piece.
