I’ll start by saying the front desk team were absolutely lovely , warm, welcoming, and professional. It’s always appreciated to be greeted with a smile after a long journey, and they really set the right tone at the beginning. Housekeeping also did a great job — the room was spotless and clearly well looked after. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell far below expectations. Service across the property was slow and inconsistent, and it was obvious there weren’t enough staff on hand. Even basic requests took far too long, and at no point did it feel like the service matched the standard being advertised. The coffee was poor — more like instant Nescafé than what you’d expect from a so-called five-star hotel. On top of that, there was no welcome amenity in the room, not even a small gesture to make the stay feel a bit more personal or thoughtful. Worse still, concerns raised during the stay were not taken seriously. No follow-up, no resolution — just polite nods and nothing done. That’s really not acceptable at this level. There was no effort from anyone to go above and beyond, and overall the experience felt flat and impersonal. You’re left with the sense that guests are just processed, not genuinely looked after. I’ve stayed in many five-star properties around the world, and this is one of the few where I felt completely let down. The value simply isn’t there for what you’re being charged. To be clear — this isn’t just a complaint, it’s honest feedback. If the goal is to maintain a five-star rating, then the level of service needs to reflect that. Right now, the front desk and housekeeping are carrying the experience — but everything else needs serious attention.
