Hotel Lal Garh Fort and Palace

The Hotel is a absolutely wonderful place, with fantastic beautiful rooms and even an indoor Swimmingpool. That said, the service was fantastic and the nice personal did everything to give me a wonderful time in Jaisalmer. They arranged me a Trip to the desert and Alman was a perfect guide. I Had some issues with milk allergy and forgetting my pills and again: The staff arranged vegan meals for me: Even in the desert. Everytime I would return to this amazing p(a)lace :)))

This is an absolute gem and retreat of place in Jaisalmer. Lovely indoor pool that is nice and cool. Staff and food was amazing. Can’t say enough amazing things about this place. We did an evening camel safari with Padam to the dunes. Amazing amazing. Definitely stay the night if you can. All the staff helped us with all sorts of requests and recommendations. Will be back for sure!

Incredible service and friendliness from the staff who went above and beyond to cater to our itineraries. We were treated like old friends. Rooms were clean and tidy (and looked quite royal). Pool was nice and cool, rooftop was pretty with a great view at night. Highly recommend staying here!

Budget friendly, beautiful artistic rooms with palace like brilliant ambience and an super indoor swimming pool, decent food and super friendly staff from manager Paramjit to Paramsingh to samer and Ramesh, all of them make you feel at home. You just let them plan your tour of jaisalmer and believe me they will offer reasonable rated transport, guide and organise time saving tour of the city and advise where you should avoid shopping etc. They even got me the famous local pyaz ka kachori and dal kachori and Gotwa Ladoo (local sweet). Brilliant is the word. When I had a small problem in my bathroom, Paramjit promptly upgraded me to a huge family room, which was simply out of this world. They arrange airport pickup/drop at reasonable rate. Dining area at the 2nd floor is another beautiful experience. Kitchen staff I don't recollect their names are so good at their job in making you feel at home. Simply courteous proud people who believe in service with a smile. PARAMSINGHJI who took us out for the long tour to Indo Pak border, Tanot, ramgarh etc is a Bandar of Jaisalmer history and so is their guide Who took us out walking to the fort, jain temple and patwa ki haveli. Great rooms,spacious, clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and furnished. Prime access to one of Jaisalmers best fort views from the rooftop terrace and restaurant. The restaurant is really good too. I even got in a few Laps in the indoor pool. Fantastic staff, always friendly and helpful. Their 5 star rating is well deserved.

The owners and the staff are genuinely nice. However, Rooms so clean are a bit noisy and definitely not for the light sleepers. Other than that, as other reviewers have noted, great views from their rooftop terrace One thing to note is they do get a lot of tour busses in for lunches or dinners or evening snacks. And there is a lot of noise and, you know, hassle and crowd in the hotel due to that. The hotel is clean and it's well located, so it's about two kilometers from the lake. It's about a kilometer and a bit from the fort.
