We've got Breakfast & lunch from them & the food was really good (Specially Chicken Kurma with Jaffna traditional spices is great). Very relaxing place & reasonable rates. Actually, worth for money. Definitely we'll reserve this place again, for our next visit also. thank you, Amis Hotel."

"The location is excellent as its walking distance to the train station, bus stand and shops. The atmosphere is very budget type. Considering its pricing its definitely a budget hotel and should be reviewed as such too. For a budget hotel they gave us a very clean room and a clean bathroom. The fittings are a bit old. It had hot water but never used it because of the high temperatures in Jaffna. I think its value for what they offer. Do not book with breakfast because you are at their mercy at what is provided. I thought the breakfast was below par. Service and the staff are excellent. Nice, friendly, and accommodating. The pictures are from a long time back. The place looked a bit run down. We did not mind as we spent most of the time sight seeing and only came to sleep. For that purpose this was great."

"Dear Green Grass Hotel Management, It is with sadness I am writing this about your hotel. I came to Jaffna after 40 years and the experience was not great . I stayed for two nights in Room No 107. I tried so many ways to contact the hotel but my issues are still not answered. They never responded to email i sent and also my calls are unanswered. 1: I was wrongly charged for a meal that I never had (Rs 1804.00). Sent many emails and tried to call but no so far response. 2: I had torn towels left in the room-Refer attached photo. When I took the room the towels left was in that condition (TORN). When asked for replacement, i was give two sets of fresh towels but both were in poor condition. I suggest the hotel to change all the towels. 3: Internet was not working in my room. After few complains, they gave a connection to my room via a router (WIFI in the room was not working) 4: There was no power point near the table for the kettle-this is a minor issue."

The rooms are cramped and uncomfortable, and the A/c barely works. As we arrived late the front gates were locked and we had to wait for sometime before anyone arrived to open them."

"We stayed here recently for one night as the Heritage Hotel was fully booked. The rooms are large and comfortable however the bathrooms are smaller than across the road at the Heritage hotel. The villa is only a few steps from the Nallur Temple and as we stayed during the festival it was interesting to see the devotees walk by. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Recommended!"

"Beautiful place, too expensive for its category, its comfort and its location in comparison with other accommodation of the same type: 9000 SLR (26€) for a double with breakfast. Pretty villa outside, in a pleasant garden. The welcome from Robby and his assistant, who are employees, is warm. The interior of the villa is very simple. A few rooms with minimum comfort, small, tastelessly furnished. No decoration. Air conditioning, fan, television. Clean laundry. Very small but functional bathroom. The villa is far from everything. As it does not offer meals, you have to go to town by car if you want to eat. (on foot it takes 30 minutes one way). Breakfast is minimalist. The driver who was staying there was not even allowed morning tea. Damage"

"This was my third visit to this hotel spanning many years. The owners who took over the management of the hotel since four years ago, have done exceeding all expectations and have not only been consistent with standards but have improved them tremendously. The hotel is just under five minutes walk from the Jaffna Railway station! Front office under FM Gopi and with Ms Thuza begins the hospitality experience from booking to check out. We arrived early morning 2.45 am still had a fast fantastic check in. Rooms are large very very kept under excellent housekeeping. The Restaurant and Kitchen is a marvel beyond description! If one wants to savor the best Jaffna cuisine and taste this is it, best ingredients, best chefs and all authentic. This is a must visit destination to any North Bound traveller to Sri Lanka. Central to town, Nallur Kovil, Keerimalai , Jaffna Dutch Fort ."
