We've got Breakfast & lunch from them & the food was really good (Specially Chicken Kurma with Jaffna traditional spices is great). Very relaxing place & reasonable rates. Actually, worth for money. The location is perfect, right next to the Nallur Temple and conveniently close to all the main attractions in Jaffna. The rooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated with authentic Jaffna and Sri Lankan antiques, which gave the hotel so much charm and character. The breakfast was entirely vegetarian, with a great variety of delicious local dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed every morning. What made our stay truly special, however, was the exceptional hospitality of VJ and his team. They were incredibly caring and went above and beyond to make our trip memorable, providing us with fantastic recommendations and helping us discover the best of Jaffna. "Dear friends, janauary 7th to 11th i stayed in the hotel.i am from U.S.A and i born in jaffna.their rooms are dirty and filthy.the bathroom is urine smell.too much dust in the room.also night time a lot of people come to the bar and making too much noice.friday 10th i had vegetetarian lunch at hotel valampuri.the food is horrible.their stair ways are dirty and never clean.customer service are horrible.when rain comes all the stairways are flood.the hotel mangement loves only money but nothing any sincere.my great advice to dont booked this hotel.also tomuch mosquitos and flying insects around the hotel.in front of the hotel there are somany stare dogs.be careful."

"This is one of the best options to stay in Jaffna. It’s not in the city centre, more on the outskirts of the city , there’s nothing around, so you basically plan your time in the resort. The hotel itself is nice , the rooms look a bit old but clean , there was no hot water in our room. The territory of the hotel is beautiful with the pool , restaurant, little museums to visit (ex bunkers). The food in the restaurant is yummy , the staff is friendly and polite, especially Scotty , he was very helpful and nice to us during our stay. Good experience at this hotel, just the water situation in the rooms should be improved."

"Overall the hotel is good. Because it is situated near the Nalloor temple, easy access to town and other attractions. Design was good enough to call a heritage hotel but hotel is getting old and can see stains on the wall tiles, toilet windows (poor design), & taps are getting rusty etc. i have not tried food there so i have no comments. Hotel staffs are helpful but not really proactive."

"Beautiful place, too expensive for its category, its comfort and its location in comparison with other accommodation of the same type: 9000 SLR (26€) for a double with breakfast. Pretty villa outside, in a pleasant garden. The welcome from Robby and his assistant, who are employees, is warm. The interior of the villa is very simple. A few rooms with minimum comfort, small, tastelessly furnished. No decoration. Air conditioning, fan, television. Clean laundry. Very small but functional bathroom. The villa is far from everything. As it does not offer meals, you have to go to town by car if you want to eat. (on foot it takes 30 minutes one way). Breakfast is minimalist. The driver who was staying there was not even allowed morning tea. Damage"
