Wildwood Resort & Marina

We just got married at the Wildwood on 8-31-25 . I have NO words to describe what an amazing group of people they have working there. From Rebecca (our wedding coordinator) to Daniel and David helping us and all of our guests to the amazing food made by Chef, it was all the most beautiful experience. Everyone working there was always eager and happy to help us. All of our friends and family kept telling us we could had not chosen a better place. The cabins, the tiny homes and the airstreams where we stayed, were super cute decorated and clean. We are all so pleased and happy we chose Wildwood as our weeding venue. And to top this unforgettable experience, John and his sweet wife took us on a boat ride….cant stress enough how happy we are with the whole experience. Thank you Wildwood Resort and Marina for making this day one of the best days of our lives. Beba & DJ

I had the best time with Jessica! She is so knowledgeable about the outdoors and just a joy to be around! I took the highland cow tour and the kayaking tour, I would gladly take another tour with her!!

Great overall!!! Rooms were clean and well appointed. Food was great too. Located on a gorgeous marina property with lots of boats. Our family spent the weekend here. We even rented a triple pontoon boat for the day and checked out the Kayaks! All equipment was in good condition and ready to roll. There’s even a small sand beach for folks wishing to swim too! The employees we met were friendly and appeared happy to be working for the resort. On Saturday evening, we were entertained by 2 seasoned Nashville songwriters. For those wishing to leave the premises, the nearby ( approximately 1 mile) town of Granville is a mock up of Mayberry USA from the Andy Griffith and hosts a museum too. One small caveat is that this place isn’t cheap for you bargain hunters out there. However, the big picture is you get what you pay for and this place is well worth the time and money for those looking for a relaxing day ,weekend or longer in comfortable well appointed beautiful surroundings. Cell service is very spotty to almost non existent in the general area so be sure to use the provided WiFi by the resort to stay in touch with the outside world! We’ll be back and to enjoy this place again.
