The Inn at Thorne Hill has quickly become our preferred retreat near the White Mountains for hiking and skiing. Its convenient restaurant consistently serves up incredible food, ensuring a delightful dining experience every visit. The staff members are truly exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure guests have the best possible stay. Whenever we crave a mountain getaway, Thorne Hill is our go-to destination.
The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable, and the presence of a fireplace in each room adds an extra layer of coziness to our stay. While we've explored other accommodations in the area, none have matched the exceptional standard set by Thorne Hill. It's a haven we look forward to returning to time and time again.

My husband and I stayed this past weekend at the Inn.
From the minute we walked through the door, hospitality was at it's finest. Due to the almost 2 feet of snow they wre getting, we decided we need to come Friday night instead of Saturday. Best decision we ever made. The Inn is amazing and the staff is outstanding. They truly make you feel like you are in their own home. From helping us get the same room for both nights, to ensuring we had umbrella's for the outside wedding ceremony down the street, to Lilly at breakfast (always happy and engaging) to the food, the room and even the other guests. Just an amazing trip and we highly recommend!

As always, it was fantastic. We have stayed at this Inn, For our 20th and 24th anniversary. We love to go here because you can simply walk downstairs from your room to sit at the bar and have a cocktail or have a lovely dinner by the fireplace which is so beautiful around Christmas time. The staff is phenomenal, and Nancy, who has been there for years is just a gem. We cannot wait to go back, it is a very special and romantic magical place.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a glass of bubbly and a warm welcome.All staff we met were friendly, professional and a huge shout out to Dave for making us so comfortable at Breakfast. We will definitely be returning. The room was romantic, a cozy fireplace and an amazing jetted tub.

Inn at Thorn Hill is wonderful for a nice quiet get-away with a nice hot tub (just fits two people) in the rooms and some rooms have a steam room in the shower. The common spaces are excellent with a beautiful fireplace and lounge with a piano. They also have a bar. The staff this year was primarily amazing, in the dining area and all other areas. Very attentive to your needs. One bar staff was great Kay. She was very personable. THere were two other women, I do not know their names but they were connected to the dining hall and lounge and were very nice and friendly and appeared very positive. Dave and Niklas in the Dining Hall for fabulous. The front desk staff were excellent. The bar tender this year did not appear as friendly or attentive as the rest of the staff. The food is okay. Not stellar. The truffles left in the rooms are terrible. Too sweet and way too many sugary jimmies on them. This truly needs to be upgraded to more classy truffles or chocolate. The gas smell is the halls and in your room can be annoying until you put the fire place on in your room, then it dissipates. Overall a very nice stay.
