Hotel Spa di Izu

The hotel is located in the mountains near Shuzenji Temple. We originally booked this hotel expecting a beautiful view, but the waiter actually gave us a room facing the staff entrance. Not only did we not have a window view, but as soon as we opened the curtains, we could see the staff coming in and out and the garbage trucks, which really affected our mood. The hygiene in the hot spring dressing room was also worrying. The wall near the exhaust fan was obviously dusty and dirty. The hygiene of this hotel was not very good. 😑 There was hair left by someone on the bedside in the room. Sigh😑, I have to give a bad review.

Overall, this hotel is a very cost-effective hotel, especially for guests who play golf. I will stay here again next time. I stayed in the hotel for three consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was different every day and very rich. There were two days of set breakfast and one day of buffet breakfast. You can see Mount Fuji from your room, but because of the cloudy weather, you can only see the top of the mountain for a short time. The rest of the time, Mount Fuji was hiding behind the clouds. It is said that because of the low light pollution, the hotel is very suitable for stargazing, but I ate too much for dinner every day and went to bed early. It's a pity. Next time I will experience the hot springs and stargazing. The hotel's hot spring is Nekogoshi Hot Spring, which has indoor and outdoor facilities. I especially like the outdoor hot spring. You need to walk down a few steps, as if you are in the middle of the woods. When the wind is strong, the leaves rustle, which is very healing. Let's talk about the hotel's golf course. Since I didn't book a package that included playing golf, the playing fee was additional, but it was also very affordable. I like to drive the golf course by myself, without a caddy, and play golf freely. The first nine holes were played in the woods. I was lucky to meet deer unexpectedly on the 2nd and 8th holes, which was a surprise; the last nine holes were more like deep in the wilderness. The golf course is not too difficult and there are not many people. If you don't play golf, you can go to Shuzenji to see the attractions. You can book the hotel's shuttle bus one day in advance to take you to Shuzenji Station, and then take a taxi or bus to go there.

Hotel location is good, very close to Xiushan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail. There are 7 floors, which are considered high in local hotels. There is a forest behind the hotel and the air is nice. The old lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly in English. Dining is a VIP room in each section, you can enjoy the food quietly. Open air, go out on the fifth floor. The scale is not very large, connected to the mountains. An appointment is required. The time for soaking is 45 minutes. The time is up before people feel truly relaxed. Breakfast time is earlier and I want to go back and rest after eating. The tatami beds have been put away. Check-out time is 10:30 in the morning, guests can't leave, and then clean up. Not very humane.

This hotel is in a remote location, but the breakfast and dinner standards are high, and there is a winery nearby that is worth a visit.

Very good hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the large bath has outdoor bathing and is very comfortable. Meals are all kinds of seafood, and the amount is very good. The hotel staff is enthusiastic and also helps us to send the station. Have the opportunity to come again.

Generally, it's a good hotel or pet dormitory, so I had to suffer from rhinitis after staying. Breakfast was delicious, too.

The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. I am a little worried about whether the health will be affected. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day.

At the same time, I noticed that the driver master had a special explanation with the front desk after learning that we were newlyweds. So thank you for the ”kill to die” that the hotel offers, including flowers, two free drinks and desserts. In terms of rooms, the whole hotel is very elegant. After comparison, although the soup pool in Qingshui is larger, we prefer the room type and mountain view of Shanke. Combining Zen decoration design and furniture, we enjoy this hot spring trip very much. In terms of dining, whether it is dinner or breakfast, kaiseki cuisine is very exquisite. While experiencing the fresh food in the season, you can feel the chef's understanding and making, pursuit and ingenuity in terms of taste, ingredients, appearance, etc., only 40 years old is really very young. In terms of environment, before two o'clock, we went to the town for a walk. The sunflower is a local specialty. This can be taken away from the buckwheat noodles, the sunflower ice cream can be tasted, etc. You can feel it. I especially recommend the buckwheat noodles of the Temple そば (refreshing, fragrant and delicious) Ice cream with Tan Nai (next to the foot bath soup pool, you can soak your feet while blowing the hair while eating dessert). Overall, this hot spring trip has become a very good memory for us, looking forward to the future opportunity to come again.
