Sunscape Dorado Pacifico Ixtapa Resort & Spa

The property, the rooms, the grounds were extremely clean. Hotel’s staff was great and very professional and polite. The variety of food and drinks was as also very good. I was actually very surprised to the quality and attentiveness of the staff upon our arrival and throughout the stay. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience. I would gladly and without hesitation stay here again and again.

We had an amazing stay at Sunscape Hotel in Ixtapa! The service throughout the resort was excellent, and the staff truly made our vacation special. A huge thank you to the bartenders Roberto and Christian for always being friendly, welcoming, and making great drinks with a positive attitude every day. Rene was also incredibly helpful and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. We also want to recognize Josue and Adilene, who were both outstanding servers. They were attentive, kind, hardworking, and always made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Their customer service went above and beyond and really made a difference in our experience. The resort atmosphere was relaxing, the staff was professional and caring, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely recommend Sunscape Hotel in Ixtapa to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

The music on the grass was very loud and made it hard to sleep. The only thing that was worse was a night with a wedding on the beach. At 12:00am I finally called the front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Even though it was a Hyatt event.

The hotel had all the amenities you would like to have all in one place. Food, beaches. Pool, taxis, excursions. Staff super friendly.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly the food on the other hand was not so good.

Excellent stay at Sunscape Dorado Pacífico Ixtapa! The facilities were very well maintained, the service was outstanding, the food was good, and the shows were enjoyable. The weather was beautiful, and the spa massages were excellent. I would especially like to recognize Emanuel, Luis, and Saúl, who provided exceptional service as waiters—always attentive, friendly, and professional. As feedback, I would suggest improving safety in the pool area with the water slides. The landing zone should have floating barriers or buoys, as people coming down the slides can accidentally hit others swimming below who are unaware. Additionally, on March 25, 2026, around 4:00 pm, at the pool with the two slides, I witnessed a concerning situation where a young child (around 5 years old) slipped into the pool and struggled while his mother was calling for help. The lifeguard nearby did not react or notice the situation, and the child was ultimately helped by his sibling. I believe lifeguards should be more attentive and proactive in ensuring guest safety. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our stay.

It was very clean but i missed some small things like conditioner and skin lition..

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Hotel is old and outdated. Pool is crowded and not so clean. This place is just okay at best.
