Hotel Nathalie

The hotel was very pleasant and an enjoyable stay was had by both of us. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty but unfortunately Cornflakes didn't taste like cornflakes like home . The pool and bar area were excellent and Maria made the most amazing Nachos. All staff were always pleasant and courteous and very friendly.

My boyfriend and i stayed at Nathalie Hotel at the beginning of July, and it was wonderful. Having read some previous reviews i was a bit skeptical, but Hotel Nathalie exceeded my expectations on all levels. The hotel itself is beautiful. We kept saying how there are so many other more ‘modern’ and bigger hotels in the area, but Hotel Nathalie felt authentic greek and cosy. From the bar and pool table, to the outside seating area where we ate breakfast - it is truly a wonderful space. The staff were all super kind and welcoming, giving us a smile every morning when we came down for breakfast. The breakfast spread surprised us both! There was such a huge selection of choice - full english, fruit, cereals, and cake! For breakfast! The pool area was also perfect for what we were looking for. Plenty of sun beds for everyone and a delicious snack bar too. The room was also ideal for us. It was quite basic standard, but we didn’t need anything more. The en-suite felt updated and modern, the balcony was sufficient and the bed was comfy. We also made use of our mini fridge to keep bottled water cool. And the air conditioning was such a life saver! I’ve read a few reviews saying the towels are a bit old and scratchy, but they’re honestly not too bad. The hotel is also home to 2 wonderful friendly cats - we just had to make sure they didn’t try steal our breakfast! And as for Ixia, it is a wonderful town. Short bus rides into Rhodes Town, a gorgeous pebble beach (i recommend watching the sunset there!), a supermarket only a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and a delicious pizzeria (you have to go if you visit!!). All in all, we hope to go back again in future! (Top tip: we found a cheap coach trip that took us to the 7 Springs and then Lindos, both of which i highly recommend!)

Quaint greek style hotel with very helpful staff, clean rooms & lovely pool area. Set in a residential area but didn't hear any outside noise. Rooms were cleaned every day. Had a sort of wardrobe with plenty of hangers but not much other storage. Our balcony looked over neighbours homes but we didn't spend much time out there. The breakfast was excellent & wide variety...better than some chain hotels in the UK. Set us up for the day. If required the meals at the poolside bar were lovely. I always wake early so enjoyed the peace & quiet & shade of the pool area first thing before breakfast. Staff were helpful informing about trips available, buses, taxis & restaurants. Got the bus to Rhodes town which was an adventure as we were crammed in but survived! Overall the hotel was lovely & much better than the larger hotels along the road as the staff made it more friendly. Would definitely go back.

I chose this hotel as part of a BA deal and saw that it had excellent reviews. I was aware of a few gripes before so was prepared for the size of the room, the lack of storage and the breakfast. We had a Bliss double/twin, it was small but it was fine. I’d taken coat hangers which were useful but there were several provided. The lack of drawers was annoying as we did have to live partially out of our suitcases all week. But otherwise the room was fine. Air con was welcome and worked. Small sunny balcony with a view of the greenery around. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everything I asked for was dealt with by the staff team. Pool area was good, although the hogging of sun loungers with pre-positioned towels was annoying and made it difficult some days to get a sun lounger. The pool bar is good and a great lunchtime food choice. The reception and bar area was really nice. We had drinks in the bar every evening which was lovely and surprisingly decent value. Kevin’s mojitos were the best!! Breakfast was repetitive and would’ve been nice to have had some more fresh fruit available. Some of the dried fruit wasn’t great. With a few tweaks this hotel would definitely be a 5 star review and if you’re looking for a small traditional feel this hotel will tick those boxes!! You read about Gems and this hotel is one of them.Beautiful and traditional you could be on the set of mama mia. Friendly staff who work non stop and go the extra mile. Reading the reviews you are always hoping them to be accurate, so many people we spoke to have been returning year after year and some call it coming home.If you are reading this what are you doing, book now!!!!!!

We have just returned from a week at Nathalie - excellent hospitality honestly nothing was too much trouble, rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed, rooms are quite basic but comfortable and the shower was excellent and quite new - would recommend a stay if you want a taste of authentic greek hospitality
