"I stayed in a single room for business without meals. My goal was to enjoy the hot springs of this prestigious inn, a rare sulfur spring with abundant water, rare even in Japan. The large public bath had a glass-fronted design, allowing me to relax in the wide, spacious tub while gazing at the fresh greenery. The open-air bath with a waterfall bath was also fantastic. Unfortunately, I returned late from the izakaya, so I was unable to use the inn's signature garden open-air bath (for bathing). The single room (without meals) has a small unit bath, but since I was using the large public bath, it wasn't a problem. They are often offered at very reasonable prices, making them ideal for business travelers who want to work hard and enjoy their after-hours activities."

"The hot springs, rooms, food, etc. Cospa was the best. I was satisfied with the morning coffee service, but I was told that the rice was only refilled once, and I suddenly got caught. That was the only complaint. The staff was also good at the staff in the morning rather than at night."

For our Swiss companions, it was the ultimate Japanese experience, complete with sleeping on futons in the traditional Tatami rooms. Minshuku Gamp House offers a unique glimpse into Japanese culture and hospitality that shouldn't be missed when visiting Iwaki. In conclusion, our stay at Gamp House exceeded all expectations. We're grateful for the unforgettable memories and the warmth extended to us. It's a hidden gem in Iwaki that we highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic Japanese experience."
