An incredible experience. Our first stop of our honeymoon and we couldn't ask for more to relax and reflect. There are no words to describe the views and the treatment by Mr Kostas and his team. Made as feel like we were at their home and were taking care of us every single minute of our stay. Constantly respecting our privacy and a lot of times feeling like we were the only guests at Tainaron Blue although the property was on full capacity. In addition to that we had an amazing breakfast and dinner experience with only Greek local products and traditional recipes with a very successful twist. Thank you for everything.

I visit Mani every year and this is by far the best hotel in the area. It must be noted that the food served at the hotel is, without a doubt, among the top 3 meals I have ever had in Greece!

Tainaron Blue offered a quiet, extremely well-appointed base for our visit to The Mani. The location, though remote, was perfect. With only four rooms, it is like staying with a dear friend - one who happens to own an incredible former pirate’s tower enclave. Kostas has shared his labor of love with lucky guests, welcomed surprises at every turn: a wonderful infinity pool with jets to soothe and jets to create a swimming current; expertly crafted cocktails - to your preferences or creatively made to delight you; a professional and attentive staff that is always ready to ensure you feel well cared for; delicious food - oh such delicious food! and curated wines to match; rooms that are refreshed multiple times each day, to ensure everything you need anytime you return to your space… Just lovely in every way.

Simply put, Tainaron Blue Retreat has provided me the most wonderful visit and stay I have had in all my 68 years. For context, I grew up in Southern California, and I have been many places in my life including Hawaii, islands in the Caribbean, and several Greek islands as well (Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Corfu, Skiathos, etc) , but Mani and in particular Cape Tainaron is now by far my favorite place. Making my visit there ultimately unparalleled was my stay at Taianron Blue retreat . With its tranquility and majestic views, its beautiful accommodations , Kostas' incredible and detailed hospitality, and the wonderful food as well, Taianron Blue was ironically not as the region was thought of in ancient time as the gateway to hades, but in fact Heaven on Earth!!! It simply was perfect and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately my wife could not come with me for this visit but I am already hounding her for a return next summer!

We booked this hotel wanting absolute serenity and relaxation and it delivered 100%. The size of the property is perfect for those looking to escape - only 4 rooms - and the aspect and views are breathtaking. Photos do not do it justice. The rooms are well sized given that the hotel is an old Mani Tower. Because of the size it feels like most of the shared space around the pool area is private. Special mention to go to owner Kostas who has bought this place to life - he is engaging, knowledgeable about the local area and passionate about the region and his guests hospitality. We did quite a bit of exploring during our stay but it would be perfectly possible to spend your entire stay within the walls of the property and have your every need catered for. The food we had on our first night was delicious, and so to was the breakfast every morning. We have been hesitant to mention the address to too many people only because we selfishly want it to remain a hidden gem! We can’t wait to come back and stay again and enjoy Deep Mani knowing that we have paradise to go back to at the end of a day exploring.

Thank you to the owner and his entire team for the quality of their welcome and their service. We were in the room with pool and sea view with lots of charm. If you are reading reviews to decide whether you should stay here or not... Stop right now and just book it. It's worth it. A wonderfully tailored experience for my wife and I, we found time to relax, unwind, and enjoy amazing food. Kostas (the architect) found an amazing location, made an amazing hotel, and helped us create amazing memories. We only wish we stayed longer. We stayed for dinner multiple times, and never a dish we regretted ordering. The flavors were inspired. I recommend you expect a long relaxing dinner experience, because this is not a meal to rush through and you won't regret it.
