Riekonkieppi

50 km to the northwest of Kuusamo, 15 km to the northeast from Posio municipality center, lake Kitkajärvi 25 m, shallow beach, sand bottom, own rowing boat, pier.

Log cabin, built originally in 1981, expanded and renovated in 2006, the extension part is made from timber.

Living room/kitchen, separe living room twith sofa bed for 1-2 persons, bedroom with double bed, loft with double bed and 2 x 80 cm beds (steep stairs leading to the loft, maximum height of the loft is 170 cm), sauna with wood-burning sauna stove, shower, separate WC, glazed veranda and open terrace.

There is a bathtub in the terrace, which can be rented straight from owner for extra fee. Water to the bathtub can be pumped from the lake by using motorized pump. Note! Bathtub is not available in January - March 2022! In wintertime (October-April) bathtub in use only by arrangement. Bathtub preheated and filled with water 150€ / 3 days. Additional cost for extra days. In summer time price for bathtub is 50€, filling, warming and emptying of the hot tub by the client.

In summer use romantic outbuilding with double bed. There is electric light.

Cooking hut.

Dog fence and heated booth for dog. Pets are not allowed inside the cabin. There were no pets in the cabin before.

In addition, there are many useful household appliances in the cabin, like vacuum machine, electric meat grinder, electric mixer, smoothie machine and blender.

The cabin is equipped with an air source heat pump, which can also be used for cooling in summer.

Riekonkieppi is a versatile cabin by the lake Kitkajärvi. Good fishing opportunities in lake Kitkajärvi. Sand beach suits well for swimming.
