Altamar Hotel

My stay at Altamar was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel’s elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. With its convenient location and outstanding service, Altamar has quickly become my go-to choice for accommodations whenever I travel to the area. 5 star!

On our recent to Greece to visit family in northern Evia, we discovered the Altamar Hotel in the seaside village of Pefki and oh, what a find this was! Upon arrival we were greeted by Vivian, the receptionist, a very vivacious and friendly employee. We felt at home immediately. We were absolutely pleased with our accommodations and amenities. Because of our age, another plus was the elevator versus having to go up and down stairs. The owners are two brothers, Stratos and Haris, plus their mother, Irene. They were not only knowledgeable, but friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was superb with a great selection and variety of items from which to choose. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and very well trained. In addition to the hotel rooms, there are very well appointed studios available---something for everyone. We highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to our next stay when we visit Greece next year. Congratulations to the entire staff!!

This year we came for the third time in Evia, to hotel Altamar, because every time we felt excellent. Altamar & Irene staff is very friendly, such a nice family atmosphere with professional service, nice clean rooms and delicious food. It is wonderful to wake up in the morning and look at the sea from bed. Also, from the terrace where we served breakfast, the sea view is special. There is free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel and at the pool, air conditioning in the room, plasma TV and a generous parking lot. The swimming pool is very clean, it is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and from the bar you can order frappe, ice cream and pancakes, pizza, pasta salads, and other delicious food. I recommend trying the Altamar salad. In the evening, for those who dine there, the hosts welcome you in a special atmosphere. People from outside the complex also come to the Altamar restaurant and that's really why, the services, the atmosphere and the food and cocktails are exceptional. Also, Haris makes a great Shisha! And don't forget to mention that in the evening, at the restaurant, we had the pleasure of listening to live Greek music. Throughout the stay, our hosts Stratos and Harris surprised us once again and organized a special program for us to discover the surroundings of the northern part of Evia, and not only. We went to the heart of Greece, to Delphi, to Athens to Kotsiras' concert, we did scuba diving, we tasted specific wines from the north of Evia, we went to the beach at Lichadonisia and Elinika, we walked around Oreio.
