If you’re a backpacker, it might be your choice, but not for usual travelers.
The location is not ideal, I came from the Taksim tram station with a suitcase, carried it all the way up to the hill for 30 min…there was a metro station nearby but still 10 min walk in rocky road. Also there was a construction in the next building so I was almost woke up everyday by the noise.
The room was unprepared. AC was not switched to winter mode so no warm air, even the heaters installed in the room were missing. The staff later brought me a portable heater, better than nothing. The bed linens were not cleaned, I could still see black long hair on the check in day. There was a kettle in the open kitchen but the tap was rusted, not sure if it was still safe to drink even boiled.
Anyway, I had unexpected problems at the last night, which the staff helped me to solve it at 3am, I’m so thankful and grateful for his kindness. If there is anything I would appreciate about this hotel, it must be the staff who’s worth 5 stars.
