Galatahan Hotel Istanbul Karakoy

Room didn't have toothbrush and toothpaste. Although we asked the receptionist and he said they don't provide it. Should bring travel dental kit . Our room view was ok, not bad... Breakfast was normal.

Отель удачно расположен - удобно добираться и до старой части города и до района Истикляль и Таксим пешком. Из плюсов - неплохой завтрак, аккуратный номер чистый. Из минусов - странная дверь в туалет , она же является дверью в душевую, то есть закрыть можно только что-то одно, такого никогда не видел)))) это мягко говоря не удобно совсем. В остальном довольно приличный отель, но должен стоить чуть дешевле

位置非常好，去卡拉達塔、卡拉達橋都非常近，飯店本身臨舊城區馬路，晚上車聲非常大，淺眠的人容易睡不好，再者要大大稱頌一下飯店早餐，非常豐富能讓旅人飽足開始一天活動

Stayed in the hotel for one week and I wish I choose a different one. It’s not the worst but it’s not the greatest either. It’s in a good location for tourism but it’s on a noisy street with a lot of construction. The room was not the best, the walls were peeling, the ac smelled bad for a couple of days, sink was loose, door for bathroom made a loud popping noise ever time you open a close. Staff for cleaning and kitchen were amazing. The staff at the front desk are not attentive, mind you I was there for 6 days 5 nights and did not help with luggage at all. Breakfast was great!!! Would never come back👎

The room smelled bad that made me sick, like rotten eggs and drains I told the receptionist every night and they said it’s ok the housekeeping can fix but never did

The hotel is in a great position to see the main touristic attractions, however also a in a very rumorous neighborhood, and the windows are missing the sealings that would help isolate from the noise. Room size small. Breakfast sufficient, missing some more sweets. Cleanliness and staff very very good.

Great Location and great breakfast. However, as soon as we put our feet into the building, we started to experience not the best customer service. The service was not as expected. I will start to mention that the from desk person at check in is not a good listener, he is rude. I decided ignored his as I don't really want to spend time arguing with an unhappy person, especially after a long fly. I let my husband to deal with him. We booked a Family suite, the room is very well designed but was not totally clean, the cover bed on the master room was not clean. Seems like they didn't change it from the last guess. and we decide not to use it. Also, during our 5 days 4-night stay, they didn't change the beds sheets. They only change the towels. I did the request to change the bed sheets to one of the housekeeping and unfortunately seems like they didn't understand due to language barrier. The lights in the main room and main bathroom never work, we asked multiples times to see if someone can come and fix it and it never happens, the excuse was the Eid Holiday and that people from maintenance was in vacation, which it was acceptable for the Eid day but not for the rest of our days. We have to use our kiddos room to shower and to do everything that needs light (make up, fix our hair, etc). I also provide the feedback to the from desk person and seems like he didn't care.
