Butlers, bartenders and restaurants/staff were excellent. Initially my only complaint was not being able to use the catamaran both legs of the trip. Hurricane Beryl ruined our vacation, and while that’s not the hotel’s fault - how they planned and executed the evacuation is. All week we were told more info would be forthcoming shortly but it didn’t come until it was too late. Luckily a guest shared that despite our constant reassurances that if we are evacuated it’ll be to another Secrets, we were in fact being taken to a shelter. A communal shelter after paying 2k a night to stay at a hotel dubbed Endless Luxury. We were lied to keep us calm and then when we had almost no choice left - we were told we’d not only go to a shelter but if we went then we’d receive no compensation for the nights lost at the hotel. Yes, we were told that we’d have to pay for the remainder of our stay as if we were at the hotel, but to stay in a communal shelter. Thankfully we were flying to the east coast so we got a last minute flight that got us close to home ahead of the storm for 4k and after 16 hours of traveling we made it home. I feel terrible for the elderly couple that was sent to a shelter that they were forced to PAY FOR as well as the honeymooning couple in the same situation being unable to get home.

We went to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary and we're blown away by everything. From the moment we reached the dock, we were treated like A-listers. The food, service, rooms, and staff algae exceeded our expectations! If you have the opportunity....GO!!! You won't be disappointed!

Went to Spezia four nights in our nine night stay because it was THAT good! Lorenzo was an exceptional chef and very friendly. Additionally, we had Eric serve us all four nights and he provided top notch service, attending to all our needs. He remembered us each time and made our dinners so special. Everyone there is so friendly!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Impression Isla Mujeres. The only way I can describe it is magical! We were pampered and taken care from the moment we arrived until the very end of our stay. The resort is stunning to say the least. The pools are absolutely beautiful! The food and beverage service were excellent the whole time. The spa was a heavenly experience. There were also so many fun activities that were planned by the staff. Highlights were going on a kayaking tour, spa day, Karaoke night and the Hibachi dinner. Our room was beautiful and included a hot tub outside facing the ocean. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back again someday!

The resort is absolutely outstanding! We came when it first opened and lived it. This trip was our second time back and it didn’t disappoint. The experience getting to the resort by catamaran is a great start, it’s so peaceful. Check in is a breeze! Food, service and views are impeccable. Sake was our favorite, at the regular restaurant. Edgar took card of us both nights we ate there and he is top notch! We followed him to wildfire when he worked there that night and already knew our drinks and had them for us. Our favorite hang out spot was the Unik rooftop bar. Andres, victor and Oriel took amazing care of us. Our only minimal complaint was the Butler service. We hardly ever used but they forgot to tell us that our special dinner had moved to a different spot due to the weather, first they said it was canceled and we went to another diner place and then they came and got us and took us to the new place. Also asked about complimentary golf carts (we had our first visit) and butler said no. But didn’t give us an option rent: After we rented from an outside source we saw they had carts for rent there on site: plus for us we got it cheaper for the 24/hours than going through the resort. We will definitely be back. It’s our top favorite places!

The good: Gorgeous pools (and lots of them). Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. The meh: Small “beach” - if you can call it that at all. Location is “meh” - nothing nearby - that can be good or bad depending on what you like. You are on the South side of the island. Great beach on the North side, but you can rent a golf cart and visit it during your trip if you’d like. Disappointing in room bar (don’t bother with pre-arrival survey - your requests won’t be noted). They will not pay attention and restock anything unless you make it a point to request it. The bad: the a/c resets to pre-determined temperatures throughout the day (and for our room, also at night), so it would suddenly get uncomfortable. It took us a few days to figure out what was happening ing. Cookie-cutter menus (eat what they serve or don’t eat — the menus at the various restaurants are limited in variety and they do not go off-menu…. it’s basically up-scale fast food). Some of the staff is great, but some are really rude and can’t be bothered to deal with people.

Yes, this is a luxury priced all inclusive - but you won't find a more stunning setting, better food or service on Isla Mujeres...or Iikely in all of Cancun. Impression offers so many gorgeous spots throughout the property to relax, take in stunning views. Multiple activities available and included - snorkel, bike tour, kayak, paddle board, pasta making, tequila tasting, nightly entertainment or DJ. ALL of the servers we had were fantastic and ADDED to our enjoyment of each meal. We honestly had no real desire to leave the resort, although we did- for walks around the south end of island and 1 day golf cart. We've been to Isla Mujeres couple of times, don't enjoy most of downtown with obnoxious tourist trap shops.Biggest complaint was the vacation club sales pitch presentation we went to - but shame on us for falling for it. If relaxing in ultimate luxury is your goal - this is it.Overall yes it's a splurge, but we felt it was worth it.

I cannot stop raving about our stay here. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. 5 stars all around from our personal butler experience, room service, restaurants, and the daily activities. Our butler Ritik was very attentive and always made sure our dinner reservations and activities were booked in advance. We never had to worry about a thing. All of the staff were amazing and had such a positive vibe. The bartenders made some of the most delicious drinks I’ve ever had. Antonio, Brian, Ritik, Alejandro thank you for going above and beyond. Can’t wait to stay here again!
