We booked 2 rooms. Initially were very happy being given connected rooms. Rooms were clean but the bathrooms were disappointing. In our king bed bathroom, the bidet spray was leaking, basin drainage was slow, water seeps from the glass shower whenever we took showers. For the double single beds bathroom, the stopper for the bathtub was loose & water just couldn’t fill up. The bathroom blind was spoilt & cannot open. We feedback to the staff & request items to be fixed while we were out during the day, but nothing was done. As for the breakfast buffet, generally most of the food were very salty & inconsistent standard for the same type of food each day. Worst experience of all, we were charged the tourism taxes again upon checkout when we already prepaid all charges online!

a great stay at Meru suites. huge rooms, friendly staff that will go the extra mile for a service for customers. great team, clean rooms as well. Quiet at night making it a wonderful stay. Only downside is the location as it is situated a 15mins drive away from town, but for such a wonderful stay I would not mind to come back here again.

Not only did they send their limousine driver to ferry my daughter to and from the hospital, but they also arranged for a thoughtful delivery of porridge and a fruit platter for her recovery, which was sent by the hotel for the following two days. This compassionate gesture was a reflection of the personal touch that M Roof Hotel prides itself on. The staff’s proactive kindness and genuine concern for my family’s well-being truly elevated our stay from a simple visit to an unforgettable experience. Although the furnishings are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel is well-kept, and the overall atmosphere remains pleasant. A good choice for those looking for a cozy and hassle-free experience.

Overall it's one of the best hotel in Ipoh with a very reasonable price. Despite location not as good as though in the town center, u may use Grab to everywhere easily with reasonable price. Room is spacious with turf club view. One of the famous Ipoh style cafe just within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again if the price continue being competitive.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Wifi in room totally do not exist. Have to go to the lobby for wifi. Was told that they having wifi problems. Can log in but no internet. Very basic hotel facilities. Stay here if you are taking advantage of the location.

Stayed one night at this very nice hotel. Easy check-in, good view from 15th floor of Ipoh, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, WiFi included and the air-con worked well. We had a big buffet breakfast the next morning- lots of choice so couldn’t try everything. Pool looked inviting but was closed, the gym had several machines but the room was hot so we went walking instead.

Satisfying and the best choice to stay here. The staff here are very friendly, very helpful and customer friendly. The service here is very efficient and always our top choice. Highly recommend to those out there if they want a comfortable stay in Ipoh. Many halal and delicious restaurants and hotspots around this hotel. Close to highway PLUS access. It's fun and worth it.

The management had left a greeting wishing me a Merry Christmas. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made me feel so warm and happy. Small touches like this truly set this hotel apart. Within walking distance, we found a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and even a bar and bistro, offering a variety of dining choices to suit different tastes. Overall, my family and I were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. For the value it offers, Symphony Suites Hotel will undoubtedly be our first choice on our next visit to Ipoh. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very old, but its strategic location near Dataran Ipoh. Free basement parking is available, which is convenient. A RM50 deposit is required at check-in. The rooms are spacious and offer good views.However, the breakfast options are quite basic, and the fruit was not fresh. Additionally, if you need an iron, it is located outside the room.
