Great location with easy walk into city centre. Quiet at night. Situated right on the River Ness with fabulous views of the river from our room. Lovely building with lots of original features such as high ceilings, sash windows and wood panelling. Rooms cleaned and beds made every day. Lift at hotel. Nice bar with friendly staff. Helpful reception team. Luggage storage given on day of departure. Twin bedded room allocated which we requested. Well worth the price and much nicer than modern generic hotels locally. Will definitely stay here again

All staff were very nice and friendly. The room was lovely and clean, although the hotel is a bit tired looking. Shower had no hot water, which was a pain! Breakfast was average but buffet style and plenty of it. Breakfast could easily be upgraded with better bread for toasting, not the cheap stuff! Food and drinks were hot and tasty enough. For the price, I expected a more classy breakfast.

The hotel is located 10 minutes' walk from the train station, which is very convenient. I arrived at night and had to go to Sky Island the next day, so I didn't have time to stay. Overall, it's a good hotel.

I booked a room because it was not expensive and I was attracted by the appearance of the house. Hotels here are very old and run down. You can see that the facilities in the store have been used for a long time. The hygiene is OK, but this single room is really small. There is also a big bug. The sound insulation here is very poor. There is noise when opening and closing doors and walking in the corridor. I wake up at 3 or 4 o'clock every day! It's terrible.

The room is located next to the canal in the city center, but it is obviously an old house renovated. When checking in, you have to sign a lot of disclaimers and record your bank card password and other things with the clerk. It feels very unreliable. I don't recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is very good. The house is old and the wooden floor makes a sound when anyone walks on it.

The hotel is situated on the beautiful River Ness, opposite the castle. The exterior is beautiful, but the interior facilities in the room are a bit simple. There is a one-way street in front of the hotel and parking is not allowed, but there is a paid parking lot 200 meters away.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The facilities are old and the rooms are average. The only advantage is that the service staff are very enthusiastic and the hotel is in a convenient location.
