West Higgins Waterside Retreat is only 150 yards from the drop off to fish these species, or you can ice fish for Perch in the shallows. Fisherman also have good luck between Flynn Island and the shore, which is a short drive on land or by ice from West Higgins Waterside Retreat. There are also Rainbow Trout, Lake Whitefish, Rock Bass, Northern Pike, Lake Herring and Smelt to be caught on beautiful Higgins Lake!
