Outside there is plenty of space to park your trailers, plus a nice fire pit with plenty of wood to cook s’mores (cooking sticks provided). If you want to do a little shopping or dining, the Alpine Village of Gaylord is just a quick 15 minute drive and offers several great local restaurants. If you care to venture out a bit further, the cabin is centrally located, allowing you to easily make a day trip to some of the best resort towns in the state (Mackinac Island - 70 miles, Petoskey - 50 miles, Traverse City -50 miles).Looking for a home base for snowmobile or ATV riding? The cabin's proximity to Trail 4 makes it an ideal base for snowmobile or ATV enthusiasts, granting access to some of Northern Michigan's finest riding trails. Our other vacation cabin is calle “Honeymoon” (VRBO 298533) The log homes are right on Wequas Lake, and our beautiful private lake is just a short walk into the woods.Both homes come equipped with satellite TV, washer, dryer, full kitchen and 1 bath. FREE Hi-SPEED INTERNET. The price is the same for either log home. Ski downhill courses such as Treetops or Boyne Mountain, each only about half an hour away.
