The main bus station is 1 blocks from our unit that you can take anywhere with buses leaving every 20 minutes. If you rent a car you do not have to worry about snow as you have a designated underground parking spot. On days we ski Aspen mountain, we typically valet at The Little Nell, and have a Apres ski cocktail and have our ticket validated, which makes it quite reasonable to park at the very base of the mountain. It is a terrific place to people watch and relax before heading back to our little sanctuary. You are steps from the bus stop, the best wine store in the valley, as well as two of the top-rated restaurants on the first floor! Jump on the bikes and head to the river or stroll to the 8 screen movie theater or the darling bowling alley that serves rack of lamb! This unique 1950's log cabin hunting lodge is utterly charming! Located within a few minutes walk to the 2 rivers that surround Basalt and the shops and restaurants of downtown. Situated on a large, quiet half-acre lot in a lovely neighborhood, with great outdoor patio and lawn spaces. It's an easy walk to the Frying Pan river and the Roaring Fork River- enjoy Basalt's world class Gold Medal Fly Fishing waters. Just 21 minutes to amazing skiing at Aspen, Snowmass , Highlands and Buttermilk. There is an A/C unit upstairs.This 3000 square foot log cabin home sleeps 7: It has 3 bedrooms- a king master with en suite bath is located on the main level. Upstairs you'll find 2 more bedrooms- a king bedroom and a queen bedroom. There is a daybed upstairs that can be used for 1 additional guest. Tub and shower bathroom with double sinks is in the hall upstairs. At the top of the stairs is an inviting tv nook with 2 loveseats. Powder room bath is on the main level.
