The lake freezes over so it's a great spot for ice fishing or hockey and is incredibly peaceful in the winter. Snowshoe trails are nearby. The house has radiant heat, mini-split heat pumps, and an electric fireplace to cozy up near after a day of winter fun.The driveway provides parking for up to 6 cars.Convenient access from Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and most of southwest Michigan and the central Great Lakes region. Only 10 minutes east of US-131.Guest access:You will have access to the entire house. We keep our boat at the dock and store a few tools and supplies in the garage, so we ask that you respect these areas. We will make any areas of the garage that are off-limits clear, but other than that, the house is yours to enjoy!Other things to note:We encourage you to open the windows and let the lake breezes flow. We added mini-split AC/Heat Pumps in all upstairs sleeping areas and the main floor in the Spring of 2024. The cottage has radiant boiler heat throughout and is great for all seasons.We also added a fence in the front yard in the Spring of 2024.
