This is the best hotel in the whole Iceland trip. Reception is super friendly and helpful. All corners are new and clean. Restaurant provides nice food at reasonable price. Free hot tub and sauna facing the glacier. I am just unlucky that the weather was so bad that I cannot really enjoy the view. Breakfast is a must add item as it is so worthwhile. It’s a perfect location if you visit the glacier tour or visit Jökulsárlón.

Because I made an appointment to see the ice cave the next day, I found that it was only 46 kilometers away from the meeting point. Although I had to go back, the price was the most cost-effective, so I booked it.
We didn’t arrive at Glacier Lagoon until 10 o’clock in the evening. After taking pictures, we arrived at the hotel at 11:30. I discovered that there is a large glacier behind the hotel. You can completely see it from the window of the room. When you were lying on the bed, you also found that there was a skylight on the roof. You could see it while lying on the bed. See the stars and auroras!
The space is indeed a bit small (a common phenomenon in Icelandic hotels!), but despite its small size, it was fully equipped and we made dinner in the room. There is floor heating in the bathroom, which is very nice👍

Our favorite hotel during our entire Iceland trip! Giant bay windows in the rooms with picturesque views, furnishings were very clean and aesthetic, bathroom was comfortable with all essential amenities. It’s also a 3-min walk to Pakkhus which was one of the best restaurants ever

The hotel is very close to the glacier lake and diamond beach, and it takes about ten minutes to drive. The hotel is very quiet at night in a small town. The room is very large, about 40 square meters, bath water or geothermal water. In addition to the accommodation room, the hotel also has a separate drying room for drying clothes (the taste inside is conceivable) for drying the soaked objects of the passengers. There are also coffee and tea in the public tea break area for guests to enjoy. Breakfast is also a more plentiful and very good hotel. Attached is a photograph of the breakfast restaurant hanging, but unfortunately I did not take such a beautiful scenery throughout the process.

The location of this hotel is very good, several small buildings have a sense of design, especially surrounded by a large wilderness, surrounded by mountains on one side, facing glaciers and valleys in the distance.
There is no elevator, the highest should be two floors. It is very close to Hofen (Hepburn), and seafood can be eaten in the town.

This hotel is very good. It is right in the town of Hofn. The town is not very big. I saw the northern lights in the hotel! I was very lucky. The room is very big and has a high ceiling. The family room can accommodate 4 people. It is a two-story loft. The price-performance ratio is very high. Breakfast is provided. Milk coffee is free all day!

The biggest feeling is that the space of the bathroom and toilet in the room was added later, it is very cramped, the waterproofing and decoration also feel like they were rushed, and the drainage has a bit of an unpleasant smell.
Everything else is pretty good, especially the food in the restaurant on the first floor is very good.
Recommended to order the grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes, the chicken breast is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it is delicious with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes

Nice big room, beds are very good, pillow ok (soft). Shower etc. also clean and do not smell of sulfur. Good and very extensive breakfast. Restaurant is good and has tasty meals for a reasonable price. Service and staff friendly and helpful. Location is remote. Supermarket is far away.
Diamond beach Is relatively close (30 minutes).

GGuest UserThe room and the shared area are clean but one disadvantage is that you can hear each movement from your upstairs or outside your room, even they walked. Besides, the self- service laundry is a bit overpriced for us although maybe I do not have much idea on how the market price in Iceland shall be. The location is quite ok and parking is convenient. And there is sufficient space for the shared area to no matter enjoy your meal or take a rest. By the way, the bed is too soft for us and the amenities in the room is quite simple especially the coat hanger.

Tough times are a blessing in disguise, it always reveals the true color of the people around us.
We planned to stay in 2020 however Covid happened. Team was very understanding and accommodating to our predicament.
It was a happy surprise to find premise exceeding our expectations too! Shoes are well organised with rack and oraginsers neatly stacked at entrance.
Reception was friendly and informative. Room was clean and neat. In room wash basin was a big plus! There were 2 spacious and well equipt WCs to our section of 6-8rooms.
2 spacious dining areas, 1 large double fridge, 1 single fridge, spacious well equipt kitchen with various prep tables and 2-3+ sinks, pots/pans of various sizes, kitchen towels, utensils, cutleries, hot water dispenser, toaster, coffee percolator, sandwich press, oven, microwave, beverages and absolutely all one needs in the kitchen and more are furnished.
It is also children friendly with baby chair, cot and safe play area provided. Rooms are well sectioned with family rooms assigned at the back, away from the hustle and bustle. There are also rooms in basement.
There is also a washer/dryer and small drying rack at the far end, past kitchens and book cabinet with reading materials for the avid reader.
We had a good comfortable night stay and hope you do too! 🙂

RRainbowheartThe reason why I gave it three stars is because the room price of more than 3,000 yuan per night has only one layer of curtains that cannot be sealed. The glacier view room including an extra bed costs more than 4,000 yuan. The toilet is so small that you have to touch the wall when you turn around. Although the hotel looks very modern, But it's not worth the price. The details are worse than other similar hotels in Iceland. If the price is less than 2,000, it is appropriate. After all, it is better than the Vogel Country Inn in Iceland. Must-pass geographical location close to major highways deserves attention.

It is especially recommended that the restaurants in the town eat lobsters. Each has its own characteristics. In short, it is worth living in the town for two days.

We just lived on the first floor, a short curtain, and the clothes could not be changed. Iceland is so long every day, how do people sleep? I didn’t care if I called the boss, but I later negotiated through Ctrip. But the curtain problem still can't be solved. The door lock of the bath is also bad. You can only ask your friends to look outside when taking a shower. I chose this house for a long time, and I was speechless to myself.

JJIEHepburn really had to set the hotel early, because it was too late, so I lived in two places with my friends. I thought this cheap would be very bad. The result was much better than I thought. Although it was a public bathroom, the small apartment felt neat. The kitchen equipment is all available. It is a good choice for overnight stays. The neighbors are of high quality. The used utensils are cleaned up and quiet. They are much quieter than each other. It is much better than another hotel with more than 2,000.
