The fish market is conducted in the harbour sheds every morning and makes interesting viewing.Around the harbour and all along the foreshore and beach area is the jumble of crow step gabled and pan tiled houses, many with quaint outside stairs.The High Street is connected to the harbour and foreshore via intimate alleys and lanes, one of which passes St Fillans cave, the key for which is locally available.
