Nanny Goat Hill is a newly renovated, spacious cottage with a contemporary feel in the midst of country and farmland and just a short 4 minute drive to the village of Kangaroo Valley (Dharawal Country). The cottage is set on 2.5 acres and is set back from the main house by a breezeway and garage, and enjoys its own private entrance, outlook and verandah. This two-bedroom timber cabin has a spacious living area with many extra features including wide screen television with Foxtel and four burner barbeque. There is the choice of dining inside or outside on the large balcony. The kitchen is well appointed with microwave, cook top, refrigerator and more.Under two hours from Sydney and a million miles from the hustle and bustle. You cannot help but relax sitting down to a barbeque evening meal on the balcony taking in the magnificent views over the golf course and the valley.You will be required to provide your own linen (i.e. sheets and towels). There are ample doonas, blankets and there is reverse cycle air conditioning. There is a Queen size bed in both bedrooms. Relaxation is so much more enjoyable after some exercise. The options are unlimited. Test yourself on the challenging Par 71 championship golf course (Jack Newton designed) with several signature holes. Swimming pool and tennis courts are located on the resort available for your use. Bring your bikes and cycle into the village. Try canoeing on the river or nearby Tallowa dam (hire available in the village). Bushwalking and horse riding are other options as well.On the less strenuous side you can enjoy the villages cafes, craft shops, country pub and more. It has a unique vantage point high on the mountain, which gives breathtaking 180 degree views into the Valley below.Newly painted with a calm and relaxed feel, and just a short 8 minute drive from the beautiful cafes, pubs and shops in the village of Kangaroo Valley.It offers the perfect getaway for family or friends during Winter or Summer.The cottage features 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom having one double bed. The second bedroom contains 2 singles that can also join to make a second double bed (please just let us know on request). There is also an extra single day bed in the second bedroom. The lounge also includes a double sofa bed. There is one spacious main bathroom with a large, relaxing bathtub, and a separate toilet. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and a hairdryer.Living space: The cottage is fitted with a fully equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, huge balcony with outdoor dining setting so you can sit and enjoy sunrise or sunset views across the valley. There is air conditioning in the main living space, and ceiling fans in both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and has some staples such as oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee and a variety of teas. There is a washing machine and dryer including detergent for guest use.
