A large wood fire for cooler months, huge flat screen TV, comfortable couches, a solid wooden dining table, and open plan kitchen (complete with dishwasher, fridge, and Nespresso Pod coffee machine), all just perfect for enjoying the ambiance of the coastal bush. On this level there is a laundry, and shower room. You can even have a shower with the sliding doors open to the bush beyond. Walk out the many doors onto the large deck, which then steps down onto a second very expansive deck area. Go up a level and you will find two bedrooms, both with water and bush views. The queen bedroom has sliding doors out onto its own patio. The second double bedroom has a small desk. Both have plenty of storage. This level includes a toilet and vanity basin.Then take a few more steps up into the secluded master suite where you will find expansive bush and sea views, your own private deck, a queen bed, and an en-suite bathroom. Binalong Bay Cottage is ideally suited to two couples travelling together who would like their own private space, as it is split over two levels giving you privacy. All profits go to the Australian Animal Protection Society.There are two bedrooms, (both with KING SIZE BEDS and two bathrooms, one on each level. A third living room has a fold out single bed.The upper level is open plan, featuring a lovely kitchen, dining area and living room which opens out onto a deck via large sliding doors. You can fire up the gas Weber Q on this deck and enjoy the views. A small laundry is hidden behind sliding doors and has a modern washer, and dryer. The master bedroom is on this level, and features a king size bed, commercially-laundered linen and an en-suite bathroom with modern shower head and complimentary toiletries. A spiral staircase takes you down to the lower level which has a second King size bedroom, opening out onto its own private patio. Adjoining is a small bathroom. There is also a beautiful newly renovated sitting room on this level, with a modern fold-out single bed which can be set up for an extra guest upon request (at an additional charge). This sitting room has its own TV. Take a boat tour up the beautiful Bay of Fires Coastline with Bay of Fires Eco Tours - which leave Binalong Bay Gulch - less than 5 minutes drive away from the house. Or a 15 minute walk.Jump in the car and take a short 10 minutes drive into St Helens where I suggest you visit the galleries, the collectibles store, and take a stroll down to the waterfront. If you like golf there is a pleasant little golf course. Take the kids to the local Serpentarium. Go the local picture theatre and visit the distillery.A little further afield takes you to the St Columbia Falls, the Pyangana Cheese Factory, the Pub in the Paddock, the Shop in the Bush, and even the famous Blue Tiers.
