Seasonal public beach passes available for access to the public beach 6 adults and children under 6 are free, additional passes available for purchase at the beach for $10/day (2024 rate). Sadly, pets are not allowed on the beaches. There are raccoons, deer and black bears close by. We recycle paper, glass, metal and plastic together. You will find the clear / blue bags in the kitchen cabinet for recycling.Please put garbage in the pail at the end of the driveway. For garbage, put out for Tuesday or Thursday nights - for pick up the next day.DRIVING:No drinking and driving please! There are Cops on the roads to maintain a strict 25 mph speed limit in Greenwood Lake, 15 mpg at night (no lights).BUGS:For the spring and summer, bring bug spray and keep the windows closed at night. Its suggested to have a Citronella candle close by when eating outside in the evening. WELL WATER:Please do not run dishwasher and washing at the same time. We have a softener system on the water for the house and TDS reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen- so the water from the kitchen faucet should be like Poland Spring! With that said, if you do not like the water you are welcome to bring bottled water - there is a CVS 5 min away that sells spring water gallons for less than $3.This house runs on a SEPTIC SYSTEM.Absolutely nothing can be flushed down the toilet other than bodily functions and toilets paper found in the house.NOTE: We are a pet friendly home, a cleaning fee may be assessed per pet.
