If you are site seeing, hiking, 4-wheeling, or just need a nice peaceful and beautiful get away, this is the place!The cottage is located on 40 acres, with National Forest on two sides. You can explore the property on site, access National forest on site, or take a short drive to many beautiful locations. The Historic Oark Cafe, the Burger Barn, Catalpa Cafe, Haw Creek Falls, The Glory Hole, the scenic Pig Trail, Byrds adventure center, Mount Magazine, Petite Jean Mountain, Mount Nebo, Mulberry River, High Bank Twin Falls, Ozark Highland Trails, Hawksbill Crag, Natural Bridge, and many other popular destinations are just a short drive away.We live on the property so anything you may need, we will do our best to accommodate.The cottage if fully stocked with anything you need to prepare meals. Roxy Ridge is a very unique luxurious cabin development that boast incredible National Forest and Lake Views within walking distance to Horsehead Lake and the newly developed Horsehead Lake Lodge and Event Center. Roxy Ridge I, the first cabin within the development contains a full kitchen that overlooks the open living room and glass railed balcony. The unit has one bedroom, sleeper sofa, and bathroom including a washer and dryer. The glass railed balcony will take your breath of the surrounding nature and the tree-top feel of it all. There is also a covered lower balcony with a fire pit table, four chairs and porch swing to provide a unique experience even in inclement weather. This cabin has a firepit, with provided firewood, located in the private courtyard next to the cabin and also includes a gas grill with outdoor seating. The cabin comes complete with all furnishings including a fully stocked kitchen, luxurious bath and bed linens. Bring your ATV's, UTV's, boats, kayaks, and dogs! Lake Ludwig is a small 300 acre lake in Clarksville, Arkansas with 2 public beaches and swimming areas, public restrooms, picnic areas, a fishing pier and nice boat ramp. There is a multipurpose walking trail around the lake and the Redlick Mountain Bike Trails are located less than 2 miles from the cabin. Bring your swimsuits, fishing gear, walking shoes, backpacks and bicycles! A canoe with life vests and paddles are available for your use. There are waterfalls and hiking trails located through-out Johnson County if you'd like to go on a hike. The cabin is located approximately 4.5 miles from Clarksville city limits which has a Walmart Supercenter, various fast food restaurants and several locally owned restaurants. The entire cabin is yours and the area has plenty of things to do outdoors. Check out the Johnson County Chamber of Commerce for all of the things this area has to offer. *NOTE* Johnson County is a dry county, BYOB! The nearest beer/wine store is located just over the Arkansas River bridge in Morrison Bluff approximately 12 miles.
