The room was very clean and spacious. Most importantly, the front desk lady was very warm and gentle, with a very nice voice. She also sent us segmented locations to prevent us from going the wrong way. We arrived at the hotel very late, and we were given a free room upgrade and breakfast ❤️❤️❤️ In addition, the hotel is very close to the scenic area. It takes five minutes to walk to Sunlight Rock and seven minutes to walk to Gangzaihou Beach. Shuzhuang Garden is next to the beach, which is very convenient. And the scenery is super beautiful!

Except for the location is not easy for taxi to come in (we have to walk around 100m to the big road and it is not convenient for rainy day). Everything was fantastic, the lady owner has great support to us, even in rainy days, she helps us to bring the umbrella to the taxi point. Room are new, nice, spacious. It is also near the tourist attraction. I reccomend you to come and stay here for your vacation.

If you choose to stay on the island, choose Yangtao Courtyard, it's so comfortable! A big tree covers the entire courtyard. This courtyard is very comfortable. We rested well. The front desk guy was super enthusiastic. He helped with the luggage, told us the story of the courtyard, and gave us a hand-drawn map to introduce us to the surrounding attractions. We chose the twilight tatami, which was very comfortable to sleep on, and the breakfast was also very appetizing. All the services were great. Next time I come, I will choose Yangtao Courtyard~

The guest room is my favorite large room. The bathtub beside the curved floor-to-ceiling window takes in the boundless mountain scenery. The greenery outside the window is brought into the room without any dead ends. The space is more transparent. Linen and stoneware elements are just right in the room. The warm and gentle experience really comes with spring.

Convenient location to main shopping areas and food. The hotel staff is generous and flexible (gave us a carton of water and allowed us to check out late). He even booked DiDi cabs for us on his account and let us reimburse him upon our return. Very helpful. The only downside is, the location is off the main street and can be hard to locate. The taxi will have to drop you off on roadside and you’ll have to bring your luggage in theu narrow streets to get to the place. No lifts either

Came here with my family and booked two rooms in total, so the pictures are shared. Very clean, great hot water! Very hot, very good, fast response ~ I will come here again next time. The transportation here is also convenient, with direct buses to Xiamen University, the railway station, and Gulangyu Pier (Dongdu)!

What a great experience staying at the beach! The room is spacious and bright, as if the whole person is integrated into the embrace of nature. The hotel's attentive service and friendly staff made us feel at home. In addition, the surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful and the facilities are complete. Whether it is walking on the beach or tasting seafood delicacies, we have left wonderful memories. It was my first time to Gulangyu Island. When I arrived at the pier, someone would come to pick me up and help me with my luggage. They were very welcoming. I would pass by several must-see attractions on my way to the hotel. The receptionist was also very nice and explained along the way. After arriving at the hotel, we were given an upgraded room type, which allowed us to overlook the sea view of Gulangyu Island. The design style of the entire hotel and the room is very unique. I was too tired to take photos at the hotel. The room type was exactly the same as described in the room type description. What you see is what you get. It was great. Regarding the tour guide of Gulangyu Island, there is a tour map in the hotel. The receptionist was also very detailed in helping to introduce the plan. The overall service was very enthusiastic. It is the best B&B choice for my next visit to Gulangyu Island~

Hygiene: Let's talk about hygiene first. Because I was traveling with my children, I paid special attention to the hygiene of the hotel. It was unexpectedly clean here. The boss paid great attention to details, and the corners of the bathroom were also very clean. It was rainy these days. The bathroom had a heater similar to self-heating, which was just enough to wash some small clothes every day, and they were dry the next day. Environment: It was quiet and secluded. This is an old villa. The boss also planted a lot of flowers in the ”backyard”, which was very beautiful. When you come back tired of shopping, you can drink tea and chat quietly in the front and back yards. Facilities: It's a house with years at first glance, but it was cleaned up by the boss and the cleaning lady. Every room has wooden floors, but the sound insulation is very good. It wasn't until I checked out that I knew that there was also a guest with children living next door, and they would not be disturbed by each other. Service: The most worth mentioning is the service. When we went to the beach to play, the boss would take the initiative to tell us that there were toys for digging sand here, so we didn't need to buy them. He also personally made coffee and breakfast for us. In just two days, I was still not satisfied. It is worthy of being a hotel with no bad reviews on the island. It's really so good~

Hahaha, this hotel has so many stairs that I thought I was carrying my luggage to Mount Emei to become a monk. The service was very thoughtful. They upgraded me to a more expensive room because there were other rooms available, and free breakfast was delivered to the room. There were a lot of green plants outside the window, which I liked very much.
