Carlowrie Castle

We had our wedding at Carlowrie Castle in November 2024, and we absolutely made the right choice out of all the venues we considered. Firstly, the staff are exceptional, especially Ailsa and Ronan who were so helpful during our tastings and the planning stages. The attention to detail from all the staff was spot on! The way they set up all of my decor I brought was exactly how I imagined it, if not better. The venue is just breathtaking. The grounds provided so much space for guests to walk around, have fresh air and the wee ones could run around and explore safely. My young brother and sister loved the swing and seeing the highland cows. The castle is stunning, we had our ceremony in the Orangerie and it was the perfect setting for us with lots of natural light. All of the bedrooms were so comfortable and luxurious, they were perfect for getting ready pictures too…or bathtub pictures like we did! 😂 We stayed at the gatelodge the night before our wedding with all the wedding party and it was ideal. It saved us from traveling on the day of which took away a stress. Plenty space with a large livingroom/kitchen area for us to get together and calm our nerves the night before. We were also provided breakfast platters for the morning of, they were great. Speaking of food, it was all delicious! Everybody enjoyed their meal, little tweaks we asked for during our tasting were all listened to and actioned so the food on the day was exactly what we were wanting. The team were so accommodating and reassuring as we had quite a few guests with allergies and dietary requirements, it was not a problem. From arriving the night before, to leaving the day after it was a wonderful experience, we felt so well looked after. Thank you so much again to all involved in our special day.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carlowrie Castle and its staff!! I had an j to mate wedding of 15 and we all stayed on the property for 3 nights. They blew us out of the water with their kindness, hospitality, and professionalism. Everyone on staff was incredible and attentive and I would love to shout out Rowan specifically for making my day everything I hoped for and more. The grounds were beautiful and the food was incredible (especially that espresso martini tower)!!! We are already excited to come back for our anniversary!

Absolutely incredible experience getting married at Carlowrie. From start to finish, I can't think of anything but the best things to say. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the food was delicious, the hospitality was top notch, and the efficiency was unmatched [as an engineer bride, this last one was important]. Since we were coming from the US, we tried to stay with only Carlowrie suggested wedding vendors and every single one was top notch. We truly loved our day here and will cherish these memories forever!

For a wedding, I was lucky enough to stay here... just WOW. Opulent bedding, beautiful bedrooms/luxury bathrooms and the food was delicious. The staff was accommodating and the grounds unbelievably beautiful! Sneaky hint to those coming to stay... if you want to have your own bubbly pre-wedding.... shh. keep it quiet and bring your own glasses!

We had the most magical wedding at Carlowrie Castle in October 2024. We were in contact with Ronin before the wedding and he always answered our emails promptly and gave good advice. On the day (and day before) the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they could not have done more to help us and made us feel very happy, settled and calm. The day went off without a hitch and this was all thanks to ALL the staff at Carlowrie Castle - the teamwork, communication, planning and preparation they had put into our day was more than we could ever have imagined. Everything was of a high standard, the food was delicious and all our guests had a wonderful time. The following day we had a really good breakfast cooked and again the staff were beyond helpful, packing our bits up and helping move bags. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

Attended our nieces wedding and it was such a magical setting. Beautiful venue, love the individual touches in the very different rooms, the art work is amazing and whole experience was fab! The team on the day were very professional, helpful and every little detail had been thought about. The highland cows are also a lovely asset!
