Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa

Our stay at Pandanus Hotel in August 2025 can be summed up with just one word … AMAZING! The hotel sits on the beach and all the rooms look out over the ocean. Our room, a deluxe in the main building was huge and very well presented with robe, slippers, toiletries, hair dryer and safe. The food at the hotel was lovely with a varied choice of local and international dishes for both all inclusive and A L Carte. The drinks menu is great with plenty of choice, again for all inclusive and A L Carte guests. There were lots of sun loungers and parasols available both on the beach and around the pool. From the hotel you can walk along the beach and visit a couple of beach bars serving delicious food and cocktails. Entertainment at the hotel is low key with a local band playing background music most evening. Twice a week a disco is held in the Skybar. The Spa at the hotel is worth a visit. There’s a great choice of treatments available. The hotels greatest asset has to be the staff. Without exception they are quite simply THE BEST, always smiling, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Special mention must go to Dileep and Ajith who both went above and beyond providing the highest level of customer service and ensured our holiday was as good and relaxing as it possibly could be. We did a few trips during our stay including … Bentota (by Tuk-Tuk), Galle, Turtle hatchery, Ella, Kandy, Udawalawe and river safari. Would I return to Pandanus Hotel? Definitely. Would I recommend the hotel to friends and family? Already have.

The hotel was excellent. The food was of a high standard, with plenty of choice. All inclusive, suited us but it didn't stop us adventuring out and about. Our room was on the lower left, with the swimming pool right outside. The view of that and the sea was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly, special mentions for Kalum, Deano, Kusin and Mahseen (not sure if spelled correctly) There was water volleyball daily, which we tried to play, it was fun. We would certainly return to this hotel.

Pandanus beach resort and spa is my favorite place to spend a beautiful holiday. Sarah and chathuri is very nice and advice us to go to city. Food is lecker and sri lankam cusines is the best. We are really happy to booked that holiday. We are coming back as repeaters thank u all the employees for made our honeymoon beautiful

Pandanus beach resort and spa is one of the best beach resort in sri lanka rooms is very large with sea view inside with jacuzzi. Food is delicious and specially thanks to chef and team kitchen. And front office chathuri and sarah were very nice and helpful. Cleanliness of room excellent I recommended to all the peoples and value for money.

We were there for the Christmas / New Year Holidays and had a very good time. The staff is genuinly friendly. Everyone treats you as his/ her personal guest. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished and everything is kept very clean. They offer a vast variety of food European, Asian ond local style. Everything is beautifully decorated and and fresh and delicious. During the holidays we were surprised about the lavish super dinner and Christmas and New Year celebrations. That was a very nice extra. In our opinion only the huge lobby would need some more interior decoration inventiveness to give it more of a living-room feeling or even of a Grand Salon. Nothin catches the eye there. No one ever sits there and relaxes with a drink although the vast room in itself has good proportions and direct access to the terrace and to the beach.
