Sycamore Avenue Treehouses & Cottages Accommodation

Such a stunning stay. they attention to detail in the cottages is amazing. Owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was perfect. Thank you so much

Arrived to find the treehouse freezing cold and thick with dust, basically uninhabitable – and so my wife spent the night sleeping in the car. The next day we had to find alternative accommodation and the owner still held us to 75% of the contract price for what was meant to be a 3-night stay (what about the owner’s obligation to make the place habitable - it’s not cheap at R2500 per night). So we paid R6000 for the luxury of spending a night in our car at Sycamore Avenue Treehouse!! The owner tried to excuse the freezing temperature by claiming that had we arrived earlier (we did arrive very late) we could have lit the fireplace…well if that does heat up the place the owner could have lit it up prior to our arrival. Wouldn’t advise anyone to stay at Sycamore Avenue Treehouse.

Long weekend spent relaxing and sight seeing. Lovely location close to popular places. The treehouses are absolutely beautiful and cozy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely place to take a short break. Will definitely go again.
