Super 8 by Wyndham Independence Kansas City

The deposit is a joke. It just a way to take your money. Didn’t damage anything and you fund a dirty wash cloth and you keep the deposit. That is wrong. Not happy with them said I have to stay for 2 days to see if the cloth cleans. Not happy so I left.

The hall smelt like **** even though it’s non smoking hotel, breakfast is a joke just muffins and biscuits and gravy. The only positive things I can say is the pool was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the location of my room was convenient.

It seemed clean but it is very old and run down. The AC worked great but it was noisy, loud music playing, etc. The breakfast options were adequate.

The hot tub didn't work properly, no coffee or coffee pot in room. Very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend this motel the anyone!!!

The check in was very quick and amazing. Great customer services. Housekeeping was nice. Walking distance to some stores

The whole stairwell & 3rd floor are musty & made breathing hard. My toilet leaked & had been for a long time. The bathroom tiles were all broken apart from water damage. Needs to be updated & taken care of. Would not recommend to anyone!

It was terrible we paid for a room with hot tub only to find that the knobs were missing it had a plastic cover for the drain to keep the water in and it was fixated on wood pieces for whatever reason they told us we’re have to let it run for 45 mins for the water to get hot and had us sign papers on the heat and it never got hot at all but it did start leaking water all over the floor that I had to get up with our towels they gave us the buttons to control the jacuzzi setting weren’t working we were tools they stopped it from functioning more you can on only turn it off and on from another button SMH the TV was small like in my baby room there was no elevator And we were on the third floor. The breakfast was horrible so idk why they keep saying they have a great breakfast and they don’t the only hot food they have it some nasty looking I guess it’s sausage And gravy didn’t even have the biscuits boil eggs in the fridge taste like plastic and rubbish we even tried eating them up no go SMH the pool wasn’t open yet but was full of wai water that was looking like ire was infested with insects smh the location was great and Dennys and other food places were very close by Ava Kauffman stadium

No elevator but was clean. This is an affordable stay. Breakfast wasn’t anything special. But did the job.

I thought to room was moldy. You could smell it as soon as you entered the room. The mold in the bathroom was horrible. I will NOT stay there again....I value my health way too much
