Apartments Igalo

My wife and I travel to Europe every year for the past 17 years. We have a family home in Bitola Macedonia and from that location we travel to places like Greece, Turkey, etc. This year we travelled to several countries over the course of 2 months in August and September 2023. In the second week of September 2023, we travelled to Igalo Montenegro Herceg Novi to visit 2 relatives for a week. We made reservations to stay at the Bane Apartments in Igalo, which is directly on the Adriatic Sea (email address "baner@t-com.me"). Our stay at this apartment was absolutely perfect and I could not fault it in any way from the price, to the apartments condition and cleanliness, to the location, to the perfect weather and especially to the owners Zorica and her husband. The apartment itself was a spacious one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, including all the amenities, refrigerator, micro wave, oven, cutlery, two flat screen TVs, linens, washing machine, a tastefully done bathroom, a couch that pulled out into a bed, air conditioning, an elevator, a secured ground level parking area and a 20 X 20 foot terrace with lounge chairs, umbrella, a table and chairs, a drying rack and a view to the Adriatic. When you leave the apartment, you cross the 2 lane road, go down a set of steps and you are on the beach, with a boardwalk that has a full service bar and restaurant directly beside the beach with valet service for drinks and food. The Owner Zorica could not have been any nicer to us and we greatly appreciated the service she gave us. Zorica and her family live in this building as well, which is a definite plus for travelers. Old town Herceg Novi was just a beautiful fifteen minute walk away in one direction and the boardwalk the other way was lined with numerous shops and restaurants, that took you into the main area of Igalo. This location is just a fifteen minute drive to the Croatian border and about 45 minutes from Dubrovnik. When you cross the border into Dubrovnik, the price of everything skyrockets up like you will not believe. If you are planning a trip to Croatia, stay in Igalo Montenegro it is so much cheaper. The drive in Montenegro is gorgeous if you travel to Croatia. During this trip we visited London England, Maidestone England, Dubrovnik Croatia, Igalo Montenegro and Malta and I can tell you that the best deal on all of these places we went to was Igalo Montenegro. Malta was a very close second. I would go back to the Bane Apartments in a heartbeat and the owners should be very proud of what they offer to the travelling public. Check out my photos.
