"Fantasic Experience We were warmly welcomed yesterday at Hotel Nipponia. The rooms pleasantly surprised us – elegantly designed in a classic Japanese style, each with its own small private garden. The extremely friendly receptionist also reserved a table for us at a charming restaurant. Breakfast was very traditional Japanese and absolutely delicious. We particularly liked both the setting and the garden. The staff were consistently very attentive and courteous. In short: our stay at Nipponia was a thoroughly wonderful experience."

"On January 2nd, I had the New Year's kaiseki meal. It cost 27,000 yen per person. Of the dozens of guests, only one other couple besides me ate this menu. Was the grilled Iga beef the only thing that was delicious? I didn't even know the chef's name. This inn has a public bath attached, and it seems that this type of inn has good baths and is reasonably priced, but you can't expect much from the food. However, it seems that rip-offs are rare. It was as expected, but also kind of expected. The food service (by a young woman) was particularly bad."
