Bamboo Dale Resort, Munnar

Rooms were good not excellent, location is yes ofcourse at quite a distance from main city road... property is under construction near restaurant and behind pool area..At this time of the year there was no waterfall so no view from tree house.. However overall nice and comfortable stay

Bamboo dale is a magical place in Munnar, we stayed in this resort in a tree house for 3 days & so wished it was for more. Stunning location, this place is so different to other hotels/resorts in Munnar we stayed at a few places in our Kerala trip and this one was one of the best. Travelled with a toddler and in spite of having nervousness about how high the treehouse is initially; it was ultra safe with kids too. Excellent service from everyone from start to finish, we had strict dietary restrictions which was handled well by the Hotel. (Jain food was served every time we requested) A special shout out to Sujith in reception who made our stay as comfortable as possible. Positives- • Excellent location, if you don’t want to go anywhere & just wander around this place has it all including a private waterfall. • Clean Bathrooms ( in very decent condition) • Overall service from everyone was superb • Staff takes care of your religious/dietery requirements • Safe for kids • Last but not the least I was told by our local driver that the driver toilets/restrooms were best & he was very happy with the food too.( this was complimentary from resort) It was essential to have a happy driver Negative- • Hot water takes time and shower is going to be basic. • Some of the natural gardens around weren’t maintained • Food portions was less Overall, a place highly recommended with stunning forest views & private waterfall.

We had such a beautiful experience! We had an amazing view from the room. This is a perfect place to recharge your batteries in harmony with nature. Warm welcome and good service from the staff and the food was delicious. Our one night stay was memorable!

We went for a vacation, and stayed in the tree house ...its was a totally sublime experience .. surrounded by forests and trees and facing a waterfall , simply out of the world. The resort has great food and super staff who aim to please and help you at every occasion.

Beautiful location, food was amazing and staff are very helpful and welcoming. As the name suggests it is a bamboo themed resort which offers a unique touch. I stayed in a treehouse and a hotel room since the treehouses where not available throughout my entire stay. The treehouse offers a unique experience at it is close to the waterfall. The room was also comfortable. I would recommend it!
