Hotel Hot spring Ibusuki

I decided to stay at this hotel as soon as I saw the photos, and I was not disappointed. The lobby lounge faces the pine forest and the sea, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while waiting to check in. Although the room is not very large, the furniture and furnishings are more exquisite than other places, and there are fresh flower arrangements, which makes people feel happy. The dining part is a little deducted. I was looking forward to the 8,800 yen dinner, but it turned out to be the most mediocre meal of this trip. The dipping sauce for the beef shabu-shabu is sour, which may be a local specialty, but I really can't get used to it. It's a pity for such good beef. After taking a hot spring bath in the evening, I went to Menya Jiro again. The taste is quite good, and it is open until the early morning, which is very convenient for guests staying in the hotel.

The room size is not large, just stayed for 3 people, the room has no bathroom, there is a large bath on the 5th floor, and there is an open-air hot spring on the 1st floor. As a hot spring hotel, the equipment is relatively general, the sea view is good and beautiful, and the dinner is better, but the service is average. I went to ask the jr and bus in the center of Kagoshima the next day. The front desk was not clear. I checked them and told them that I would take us to the bus stop. The whole service was warm, but the news was not complete. Compared with the Wudao Hot Spring, the service is not meticulous.

I first chose this hot spring hotel because it was close to the Sand Sand Hall so I could try Ibusuki's famous black sand bath. But it turns out that this hotel is also quite comfortable. The room has a stunning view of the entire beach and sea, which is refreshing and the private bath is very convenient. 1 bed, 2 meals, delicious, fresh and seasonal food, making the journey more enjoyable

[Good] The location is great, very close to the Sand Raku Hall (and the bus stop), by the sea, it's very pleasant to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves at night. There are sand baths (1200 yen) and hot springs, very comfortable. [Bad] Maybe it's because it's a Japanese inn. The cleaning lady suddenly opened the door with a key and came in to make a blanket for me while I was still in the room, which scared me. (Japanese inn service habits?) [Summary] Super cost-effective, elegant environment, friendly and kind service staff who can speak English.

The view is beautiful, it is close to the sand bath, there is a free amenity bar (limited to two items per person), the room is quite large, and the facilities are not new but clean. Open-air hot spring overlooking the sea. The breakfast tastes good, but the presentation is exquisite, with many side dishes and drinks to choose from. The hotel also has free coffee and detox water, which is recommended.

I know that the hotel is old, but I didn't know it was so old! I have stayed in dozens of Japanese hot spring hotels. This should be the oldest one. The public area on the first floor is also very small. There is only a foot bathing pool. The bathing place is not special, but the room type booked is 50 square meters, which is quite large. , You can watch the sunrise in the room in the morning Breakfast and dinner for one stay and two meals can only be given passing marks, it's too stingy

For three thousand dollars, you can find a sea view room with one bed and two meals. 

Let me start with the conclusion: the hotel is good, but trip.com is bad. I booked a non-smoking room, but trip.com reported that the hotel had a smoking room. When I checked in, I found that the room smelled very heavy of smoke, so I discussed it with the hotel. At that time, the hotel showed me that the reservation document from trip.com showed a smoking room, which was exactly the opposite of the screenshot of my reservation for a non-smoking room. The hotel also said that there were no similar non-smoking rooms available and they could only give me a larger double room. I don't want to take advantage of this. It's obviously trip.com's fault, but the hotel has to bear it. Therefore, I wrote down the experience truthfully. I don’t know whether this review will be published, because I didn’t reply to the online conversation on trip.com at that time, so it was left alone. Once again, the hotel is very good, but please think carefully about whether you need to book through trip.com.

The room is large, with a swimming pool and a sea view. The hotel is very private, breakfast and dinner are kaiseki cuisine. Hotel service is very good, you can borrow a lot of things for free in the lobby. To go to the hotel, you need to take a taxi from the jr station, and a forest path is also very artistic.

Just opposite the sand bath, there is a bus stop next to it, the location is very convenient, I booked two meals, the content is rich and delicious, it is really good value for money
