We stayed at Treetop for seven nights. What a beautiful location for our little bungalow overlooking the sea. The accommodation comprised of a bedroom with fridge and water dispenser, en suite bathroom, and balcony with chairs and a hammock. There was a mosquito net over the bed (which we didn’t need to use) and AC (which we did). The owner, Wiggy, was very helpful with info prior to our stay, and when we arrived by directing us to restaurants, hiring scooters, sights to see, ferry times, taxis, etc. We came during Ramadan which meant most of the businesses were closed. We were diving most days and found a lovely place for lunch by our dive centre on Gapang Beach, an 8min scooter ride away and alternated our evening meals between the restaurant about 200m from our bungalow and another restaurant approx 10min walk towards Iboih beach. When Ramadan is over there are lots of restaurants close by. We were diving most days, but also went snorkelling just in front of the bungalow; there are steps down to the shore, but the beach has lots of pebbles and boulders so I’d recommend wetsuit shoes. Once in, it was like a tropical fish-tank, with lots of sea-life to see. We found the area a perfect location for the diving centres (of which there are many), several are in walking distance. Would highly recommend Treetops.
