Gleuel Inn - Digital Hotel & Serviced Apartments & Boardinghouse Mit Voll Ausgestatteten Küchen

We stayed at the gleuel in for 4 nights to serve as a base for a trip to Phantasialand. The self service Check-in was easy to use especially since we arrived late in the evening. The accommodation was modern and mostly clean although we did find that the tiled floor was making our socks dirty. The apartment was perfect for a cheap stay for the budget conscious with a well appointed kitchen making it easy to make a quick meal from the nearby supermarket rather than waste money on eating out every day. The shower room was spacious and nice but only expect the loo roll to come as complimentary. There were a couple of things that would prevent us from revisiting however... We enjoyed warm sunny days while in gleuel but the lack of air conditioning made our stay really uncomfortable. There are no curtains at the windows but instead a heavy duty electric shutter. Great for privacy and darkness at night until you realize that you have just shut off all ventilation to the apartment. the front door is glass with no way to prevent the summer light from entering at 4:30am. This design flaw renders the blackout blind pointless. There is a balcony which we enjoyed but it is shared so im not sure that we would have used it at all if there had been anyone else around. There was no bedside lights which we felt was an omission. Overall we decided not to revisit this place due to the fact we were roasting in a sealed box every night but we can't deny that it served a functional purpose whilst visiting the area.

Manager unhelpful terrible place. Manager clearly does not like foreigners. Made a very uncomfortable stay I would not stay again. Internet poor and smell of smoking and noise in various rooms. Asked about the WiFi and was told there was no problem. Had problems getting into the accommodation as the electronic Check did not work and come the weekends there is no one around. Receptions rude and clearly does not appreciate anyone other than Germans

Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées, le moindre bruit vous revient dans votre chambre, aucun échantillon dans la SDB . Nous étions deux et il y avait deux lits de une personne séparés. L'emplacement de la tv est magic, au dessus de votre tête d'oreiller , donc impossible de regarder l'écran. Le lit fait 70 cm de large, la couette également. Pour le matin deux capsules de kf et basta , que dalle. Bref heureusement que c'était pour une nuit. Un conseil si vous y allez, ne payer pas le parking à 5 € car c'est une zone industrielle et il y a toute la place qu'il faut pour ce garer et GRATUITEMENT.
