Landhotel Kallbach - 4 Sterne Superior

Excellent hotel - the room was beautiful and the staff super friendly. It‘s pretty romantic there and nature outside really worth a trip! 💚 Service was incredible - even though I checked in after they were officially closed, they managed to have a vegetarian dinner readily waiting for me. Which tasted amazing and they also got a superb choice of food and Drinks. Absolutely going there again!!!!!! 🤩

Family-run hotel with a personal touch. Tucked away in a peaceful, scenic valley. Spacious, spotless rooms with private bathrooms. There’s an elevator. There is plenty of free parking and an excellent restaurant serving gourmet menus with perfectly paired wines — a dream for every gourmet!

I was about to book but spoke to the owner Manuela Baier who really put me off. Very arrogant and rude and absolutely not helpful. Such a shame. It also seems I wasn't the only one with this experience. Basic manners would have been appreciated.

very nice little hotel! good size for the room... excellent breakfast in a nice terasse for a couple of sunny days ! menu for the restaurant a bit limited for our taste, but good overall! ... close (10 km) to Rurrzee and a beautiful hiking trail!

This is a lovely modern hotel with big rooms in a very beautiful and quiet location. The service was truly phenomenal. I don't think I've ever stayed in a large hotel where staff remembered my name, and even brought me a beer without asking as the waiter thought I would want one - and he was right ! In my work I've been fortunate enough to stay in some of the top hotels in the world and the service at this hotel surpassed all of them. The car park probably holds about 15 cars, but there is a large free public car park right next to it, and the area is very safe and quiet. The restaurant for dinner is a little pricey but the food excellent, and as I say the service is wonderful. The rooms were also really nice and decent size, and the hot bath one of the nicest I've had the pleasure to lie in, which was very welcome after a days hiking !! There is a lovely modern spa in the basement but be aware that this being Germany the sauna is fully nude :)

Als einzig positive am Hotel war das Frühstück. Das Abendessen und die Getränke völlig überteuert und auch keine 4 Sterne Küche. Außer dem Café gegenüber gibt es aber leider keine andere fussläufig erreichbare Alternative. Es ist ne Schande, dass sich ein Wellnesshotel mit einer(!) Sauna so nennen darf. Die wird aber erst ab 15 Uhr auf Wunsch der Gäste erst angestellt… Im dieser einen Sauna trifft dich dann das gesamte Hotel, dann wird es noch kuscheliger als vorher. Es gibt ausreichen Liegeflächen und einem leeren Wasserspender. Warum? Das Zimmer 307 ist so alt möbliert, dass es weh tut. Die Duschbrause schimmelt und der Handtuchhalter kommt aus der Wand. Am besten war die abgegriffene Möbel mit dem Uraltradio und der Stuhl mit abgeblätterten Kunstleder… Das ganz Zimmer war nicht nur lieblos, sondern die angeblichen 4 Sterne sind einfach unverschämt. Nie wieder.
